I HIGHLY doubt that they have included full analytical data reports for every player. The shear amount of useless data that it would send to R* would be overwhelming.

The game save data keeps track of the money you've made selling cars.

Easy as pie to run that data against how many cars you can have legitimately sold in the time the games been out.

They also track the number of missions completed online, they can run the number of missions completed against time spent in the game, obviously if someone has a minute of gametime per mission, it's going to send up a red flag.

The point is, R* would be punishing a LARGE part of the playerbase for these glitches/exploits. It's not like hacking where it's less than 1% of the playerbase, this is a much larger percentage that have done these glitches/hacks. They're not going to ban anyone, and I'd be surprised if they reset anyone. Their targets are and always have been the hackers.

I don't think anyone who was farming should/would be banned. Things like the LSC glitch, on the other hand....

Because blowing up a vehicle to autocomplete a mission is not exploiting or glitching?

Get real. It sounds like a bunch of scared kids that exploited missions are trying to justify their actions by those doing the LSC glitch. They're the same offense.

I've done none of these things. Most I did was replay the Cargobob mission 4 times, so understand, I have no skin in the game.

Having said that, they are not the same thing. Not even close.

Jesus christ i have not done any glitch or exploit and really am just glad they have the game online and playable finally. For the fact that exploiters made them have to nerf missions though sucks. Some of these missions take quite a long time and then pay you like $1000. Thats half of the money you have to pay when you die. Sucks that i get shot by some random asshole a couple of times and lose 4k and have to do missions for an hour just to make it back. I hope they sort the reward system out. I am trying to buy a super car to go in my nice garage!

Please, explain to me how one is exploting and that other is not. Make sure to remember that I'm talking about blowing up the vehicles, completing the mission in a way that is NOT supposed to happen. NOT replaying missions.

Because it's not a glitch. It's an unexpected way to complete the mission. Expect a fix, not resets. LCS customs, big glitch. Possible resets. It's a difference for subtle minds I suppose....

Also, while you're at it, explain how GTA$ gives players more of an advantage that farming ranks, which unlocks weapons like tanks and miniguns.

Go ahead, I'll be waiting.

Why am I supposed to explain something to you that I was never even discussing? :dontgetit:

Why would they ban the ppl using the replay button?

THIS

ffs it's a option they gave us.

Glitching sure but replaying was their doing. If they reset you to original spawns replay would not be a big deal too. So many easy fixes for it.

but it is legit

also, replaying a few races levels you very fast and they didn';t nerf those by removing replay. Seems $$ was the reason not RP

TheGodDamnMaster

Actually there is a difference between replaying a mission by pressing one button when the mission is done, and THAT way with bikes which is clearly exploit bug

And even if R* don't ban them, believe me in 2 weeks they won't play the game anymore because they don't have anything less to do

I'm a multi-millionaire from that glitch and I have plenty of time to level up and wait to partake in the upcoming UGC.

That's like saying the LCS customs glitch is an "unexpected way of making money." That doesn't cut it. Blowing up the vehicles, when you're supposed to DELIVER the items, is not an "unexpected way of completing the mission." Come across it accidentally once? Okay, maybe. But once you keep doing it, that's when it becomes exploiting. You can argue semantics all day, but it still comes down to being an exploit.

Nope. Not semantics. Coded into the game, and a perfectly valid way to end the mission. End of story. LCS glitch, definitely unintended, and given it takes away from the customer base for cash cards, unwanted, and very probably resets.

Why do your posts have such a frantic edge to them? Done the glitch, now trying to talk yourself into thinking you won't cop a stat reset?

Knowing Rockstar, it won't be a ban. It will likely be a loss of your apartment, items, and/or money (because you shouldn't have all of those things to begin with due to glitches/exploits). But permanently banning people for using exploits/glitches that they should have patched is unfair.

If they want to get creative, they should toss people in the prison for a few days. THAT would be funny.

that would be good to see then tr and escape prison break time anyone

Would be funny if they make us pay back all the ingame money we stole like Martin did for ruining his house lol

So funny this is the most morally terrible game out there and people crying about cheating and robbing lol

They won't ban or reset anyone for replaying missions.

They WILL ban or reset (or both) for the LSC and robbery glitch.

They will wait to do the bans until after they fix it. Then cometh the banhammer.

source?

Are you kidding me right now? Blowing up an item it SPECIFICALLY says to DELIVER is "coded into the game?" Uh, no buddy.

Uh, yes buddy, coded into the game. You can tell, because after you blow it up the mission is passed.

See, try and follow the distinction. Like I said, it's one for subtle minds. One is a way of completing a mission that is coded into the game, possibly deliberately. Probably, I would have to say. The other is a glitch that is most definitely NOT intended to be in the game. It's not rocket surgery....

If anyone is trying to talk themselves into not being reset, it's apparently you and half these forums. The only difference is I've agreed that the LSC glitch is an exploit, you're too scared of punishment to admit that these ways of completing missions is an exploit.

I've done I think one (maybe 2?) of the missions where you blow XX up instead of delivering it, and have NEVER done the LSC glitch, so like I said before, I have no skin in this, and actually do think resets are possible.

Scared though? LOL no. Nothing to be scared of.

You think R* can monitor the glitching behavior of 1 billion people at the same time. They cant even get the servers right...

LOL they had 1 Billion dollars in revenue not in unit sales you don't think 1 BILLION people are playing? Let me put that sweetly if they had 1 Billion players their revenue would of been over 50 BILLION dollars!

Plus it would mean about 15% of the population of the entire world are playing.

Como'n people. . Nobody is going to get banned.. If something is possible in the game, then it is not reason to ban. Rock* just need to patch those things so that they are impossible to do. Those doing the "glitch" are NOT GONNA GET BANNED, cos the game let's you do it. If it didn't and you break the system then people should get punished.

Why would they ban free testers finding glitches. The money is consider basic payment if you ask me

They will ban people who exploit glitches, maybe boosters , not people who replay missions over and over again (its not a glitch its a feature in the game) This is the SOP of basically all major online titles, rockstar will most likely follow. But who knows, maybe not.

The moment when rock star decides to go that route, they will first warn the players. It will not come out of the blue. So stop thinking for rock star. They will do it or not when/if they want to. They don't need whiners telling them what to do.

Mouth off at rock star and wait for them to take a action instead of making these nonsense threads. Exploiting glitches isn't ban-worthy IMO, at least until rock star acknowledges this and/or warns players.

No reason to warn people, they already agreed to the TOS when playing the game, which includes exploiting game glitches. People who will be banned (if they do, do that) have already been warned.

I haven't read the TOS.. because who reads that anyways? If it is mentioned then rock star can ban anyone any moment. But it would still be a good businesses decision to warn first. This isn't school... their first priority is to retain customers, not punish them for exploiting glitches.

If people don't stop doing it after warning, then they deserve to be banned without a doubt for being so stupid.

Glitching is cheating, you really have to be warned not to do that?

Yes. Because it is not ban-worthy IMO. But if they do decide to do that, I am totally okay with that decision too, but they should warn the players first.

The best way to handle this is fixing their glitches. If they cant or dont... then dont take it out on people exploiting them. Its their fault they are not fixing them.
