How many races do i need to win to unlock mods?

It may have been a patch update, because it seems like before the latest string of updates you needed wins from every style of car. Now it seems like 50 wins (regardless of class) will get you everything unlockable via race wins.

Vehicle class never mattered. I had my first 44 wins (for the performance mods) done before the first patch and it counted towards everything.
