GTA: Online - RP for completing Awards

A formal complaint of mine would be rewards for earning the different level of awards. I don't understand why you only get 800 RP for achieving platinum, 400 for gold, 200 for silver and 100 for bronze.

 

A few examples of Platinum Award Pre-requisests 800 RP for completing each.
Blowing up 500 cars

Robbing all 20 stores

A hole in one in golf

Buying every gun from ammunation

 

 

My 2 cents:

If you don't care about getting the platinum itself the RP awards for these is no where near worth a fraction of the time, effort or even luck getting them completed. Buying every gun requires a minimum level of 120 alone. 800 RP isn't even noticeable.

 

What do you think? Should the values be changed? Or getting "platinum" medals worth it on its own?
