Your Fav radio station in gta v?

I know a lot of people saying "music in gta v sucks" or something like that so what is your favorite radio in gta v?

At first I wasn't feeling the radio stations, but now they have grown on me alot. I think they're far better than the ones in GTA IV, but SA still has the best stations imo

I mostly listen to Los Santos Rock Radio. However, I've also been recently listening to Blue Ark a bit. I've noticed that one of the songs on that station ("Disco Devil") actually samples a song that's in GTA SA (I believe it's called "Chase The Devil", probably by the same artist).

 

As for talk radio, it depends if I'm in Los Santos or Blaine County obviously. However, I might prefer WCTR. Lazlow and Fernando/Frank always have funny sh*t to say.

Can't choose one, they're awesome.

My personal favourite would be FlyLo FM, i love its mood and Garbage by Tylor the Creator is one of the best song in the game for me, i always switch between this station and Radio Los Santos while playing Franklin.

I also listen a lot to Non-Stop Pop, Radio Mirror Park and Vinewood Boulevard Radio, they're both awesome. Non-Stop Pop is so catchy and features a lot of really famous pop songs anyone can sing along.

I ain't got through every station so far, Worldwide FM seems to have a bunch of great stuff too.

I just wish they added more songs though

Disco Devil is a Lee Perry (the station announcer) track. Chase the Devil is by Max Romeo, but it was co-written (I believe) by Lee Perry, and played by his house-band, the Upsetters. Absolutely solid gold reggae heritage right there.

 

 

OT:

Blue Ark is one of my favourites, but I'm really getting into the talk stations. I just wish there was a couple of shows for each... show. I love Chakrattack, but I've heard it too many times. Radio DLC would be worth every penny, I think.

The Doors would have fitted in so well, such a shame - Imagine cruisin up to Paleto Bay listening to Riders on the Storm. Oh well, I also listen alot to Non Stop Pop, mostly for the 90's dance.

The talk Radio in this game is a let down compared to the likes of Vice City VCPR and IV's talk radio with Just or Unjust.

But the music is all fine and dandy, tied between none stop pop and LS Rock Radio.

How the hell is that? As far as I was aware, the song it so critically acclaimed it's unbelievable. If anything it's one of my favourite songs ever written.

 

@the nameless agree with you on the lack of songs by the Doors on LSRR. Listening to Roadhouse Blues driving through the desert, or hearing LA Woman as you speed through Downtown LS at night time would be brilliant.

FlyLo FM, but it starts to kinda bore me so I switched to Worldwide FM. It has some tracks that are f*cking hell to listen to imo but on the other hand it has Waveforms by Django Django, Forrest Funk by Swindle, Ghost by Mala and most importantly Cashmere Cat - Mirror Maru

I'm with you on Baker Street. One of my faves, and I always thought it was well recieved too. Maybe Fuzz just doesn't like it, one mans trash is another mans treasure.

Honestly, I dont get how anyone can dislike the songs, though I can understand the disappointment to how few songs each station has.

 

The radio is a huge upgrade from IV. Its on the same level as VC and SA. Not better than them, but on the same level.

Non Stop Pop FM is amazing, i understand why there's not many modern songs on it because of licensing but i wish they had put this song on it as it samples Stardust's 'Music Sounds Better With You'

I voted Vinewood Blvd but I really like Space, The Lowdown, Worldwide, and Soulwax FM's too. Flylo and Rebel Rock are tied for honorable mention.

 

There's a lot of good music period, I've never understood those who can't find anything at all in V.

 

The talk radio is better in Blaine county in my opinion. Lazlow seems to be sucking more on purpose. Or is it just me?
