So when you go into your inventory and enable friends, crew or friends and crew to enter your car it doesnt work for me. I have to have that option set to everyone. Is this thing broken or what? Can your friends enter your personal vehicle after you enable only friends to enter it?

I do have to get out of my car after changing the setting but it seems very temperamental, sometimes nobody will be able to get in regardless of the setting.

Nope. I've changed this setting plenty of times and it has worked without me entering and exiting my vehicle.

 

I press down select, change it to everyone, close out of the select menu, and people can immediately get in my car.

Nope. I've changed this setting plenty of times and it has worked without me entering and exiting my vehicle.

 

I press down select, change it to everyone, close out of the select menu, and people can immediately get in my car.

 

Never been able to do it while sitting in my car. I always lock my car and when my friends/crew members want in I change the setting, close the menu and can see them still not being able to open the door until I exit the vehicle

And I can confirm you don`t have to enter/exit when changing from outside the car. I always have this bug on my car and I always have to change the setting to everyone when a crew AND friend can`t get in, with crew+friends setting active.

Yeah, the problem isn't with the "Everyone" selection though. That works. But I don't want Everyone in my car. I just want Crew & Friends. When I set it to that, regardless of whether I am inside or outside my car, my crew & friends cannot get in. Are you sure you don't have this problem too? Right now, for me, and my crewmates, it's either "No one" or "Everyone" and those are the two worst options. PS3 user.

so judging by all the replies i can pretty much say that this feature is broken. Some1 with higher power needs to report this to rockstar because it is very annoying. That one guy put it perfectly, its either no one gets in yoru car or everyone.

 

Everyday that passes there are reminders of how unfinished, buggy, broken and glitched the online part of this game is. Were the testers of the online portion high when they were testing this thing.
