Well if they wiped my bank, that would be about 30k as i have spent the 1m i made doing it, i'm not greedy and the only reason i did it was to get some justice for my 20 hours lost.

Cheating and Farming are two DIFFERENT words. They do NOT mean the same thing.

 

Cheating is breaking the rules. Doing something other than what the developers designed it to do. (Bike/Car selling glitch).

 

Farming is doing the same mindless mission repeatedly to gain faster.

 

Cheating IS against the rules. Farming is NOT.

 

Just read the rulebook which comes with the special limited collector´s edition and apparantly using bugs/glitches is not considered as cheating. Also it´s called Grand THEFT Auto so just let everybody decide for themselves if they want to exploit this glitch while they still can. Can´t be too long till this is fixed.

Open your eyes OP. That Violent Duct thing was not a cheat. R* didn`t think the system through and people found a loophole to the system that they had. You can`t ban for this since you didn`t need an IQ above 2 to do it. C`mon the replay button was right there and you didn`t need to bug it or anything. + R* didn`t warn people that they will give out bans for doing this, so nothing can be done. If you are that butthurt about it then you`ll be happy to know that R* will give veryone who played in October 500k. So go make another thread how this is terrible idea since now everyone will own the expensive sh*t.

Fact of the matter is, farming doesn't just get the player money. It also gives them so much RP so they can unlock more with said money.

 

Where as cash cards only give you cash, not RP. I feel as though they should just sell RP with it though, to make the farmers cry.

 

Whenever you're on this forum you cry and complain like a baby. If R* sold RP with the cash cards how will that affect farmers? They do it to level themselves up and get themselves money. Do you will think that they will care what others wealth and level is?

If you were talking about single-player, that would be fine. You can play it however you want, do whatever you wish. It's yours. But in an online competitive game, rules of play exist and Rockstar are ultimately the ones who will decide what you can and can't do.

I don't really give a f*ck about any of this sh*t... I play on invite only and just play with friends. But if there really is a big issue with this lets look at it thisway.

 

I used to play WOW. I bring this up because someone on here mentioned what if everyone cheated on wow. Problem is they kind of do. You make a tank class and instance grind to level quick. That means you do the same thing over and over and over and over. Also, yeah you get different quests but there are a bunch of them. In essence you are farming quests to get higher levels. Guess what same sh*t different game. Just gta 5 doesn't have tens of thousands of missions for people to do. So players are kind of left with nothing.

 

I play a mission call gerald or whatever his name is request job and guess what mission comes up 9 times out of 10. Death metal. A sh*tty low reward mission. Everytime I call that's what I get. So through no fault of my own I am repeating the same mission over and over. There is absolutely nothing wrong with farming. At all. The car thing is glitching. And that is cheating. But they are just getting money from it.

 

TL:DR Everyone just shut the f*ck up and stop arguing. People that farm don't encourage these posts by replying. Just leave it alone.

 

Also I don't farm or glitch whatsoever, look up my social club if you don't believe me.

Except for the fact they turned off the replay button, then people used RT/R2 for instant replay, and now the spectator glitch. When the replay button worked it was perfectly acceptable. Now, not so much.

 

HOWEVER, I agree, R* isn't going to ban anyone. MAYBE a reset, but that's pushing it. More than likely R* will patch these things and move on. Players will still buy GTA$, most people don't even know about the replay missions or the car glitch. Most people never even read this forum.

 

Well I only know about that replay button and RT/R2 thing and I used it a bit, but now that they have fixed it I`m not even looking for a better way to get money, since I have the 400k house and the Supercar that I wanted, now I`m just taking things slow to get some other cars and upgrades. Belive it or not I acutally ran out of ammo and I didn `t had any money to buy more, so I had to rob a 24/7 store with an empty gun to buy some ammo
