Farming is technically exploiting, aka taking advantage of R's replay system, but whatever. Let them choose the easy way out.

 

My beef is with the car selling issues. That's ridiculous. That's cheating.

Farming is NOT exploiting. Rockstar has already said that. The replay system is SUPPOSED to be there. Even when you can't do a fast restart, you can still just call the contact right up and get the same mission again. Are you going to say that's "exploiting" too?

 

As far as the car selling and bike selling goes, THAT is abusing a bug/glitch. THAT is cheating and that WILL get players banned because it's so easily tracked. It shows up on everyone's stat's page how much they've made from selling cars. On that note, enjoy the bans/reset's f*ckers. This 1.04 patch that lets them put money directly into our accounts? Yeah, it works the same way to take it out.

 

You can buy cash cards and be rich in seconds who gives a flying f*ck what other people have done to get money. If it isn't effecting you, f*ck off!

Where as cash cards only give you cash, not RP. I feel as though they should just sell RP with it though, to make the farmers cry.

I am not mad. I am worry about the game itself,looking some in the future. There is no doubt that rockstar
has done alot work with the online part.They did this for a reason. However, if players have like 20 million
already they have to think: Well, players are cheating. We are loosing money. What do we do? What do we do for the legal players? The answer is very important for players like me, because i will just stop playing if this goes one and

If, like me, your playstyle is mainly soloing missions with a few races and activities thrown in, then you have little choice but to repeat missions otherwise you don't earn enough RP to level up, which is what gives you access to new missions. Not sure if this counts as farming though since I'm just phoning up contacts and seeing what missions they have available, skipping the ones I don't like (some of which are the more high paying ones). Repeating missions can be a drag sometimes, but it can also be enjoyable trying to perfect a mission playthrough.

Meanwhile, a cash card just gives you cash. No RP to unlock certain things with it.

 

Farming does effect other players. Deal with it.

 

And farming should be counted as exploiting. Just because R* doesn't have the balls to say it, even after the fact they took down the Duct mission reward, and mysteriously somehow took off both replay abilities. One first being the replay, the other being the R2 restart. One coming before the other was stopped. But yeah, they didn't intentionally try that, right? Bull sh*t.

 

They know why they stopped replaying and restart. Trying to say they didn't mean to is a joke.

RP is no problem to acquire if you know what to do, and I'm not talking about exploiting the system. I'm talking about good old grinding BABY! Aka doing missions you know have hight RP pay outs and doing a lot of them. There is nothing wrong with that! I'm still grinding after the patch and there is nothing you or Rockstar can do to stop me!

Farming isn't cheating by any means. I wouldn't do it myself, but I don't see any problem with it, apart from the fact that most of the people who do farm are 12 year olds who are doubtlessly neglecting their homework to play for 4 hours a day. The bike glitch and other exploits like that, however, are cheating. I'd consider the cash cards cheating except that it's sadly sanctioned by rockstar (at the expense of fun in the game, it seems).

Define "farming" because you clearly are a f*cking moron. Doing the same missions over and over again is a choice the player makes. Just because you don't want to do it doesn't mean it's against the rules. Using exploits to do it faster? That's a completely different issue. Replaying, is NOT an exploit. The fact of the matter is, that Rockstar made it easy and possible to farm missions. It was very obvious that they released a broken game onto the market. The game still doesn't function properly. Which is a sad fact. I just opened another request ticket, for the game causing my console to freeze for the first time.

The risk of exploiting and getting banned and reset is also there. They did it in RDR for some and are fully capably of doing it again

I do care. Yes, it is a game. But cheating, like in everygame has to be taken serious. Like in world of tanks. There is no excuses and you get a ban if you ,or they suspect you are doing something illegal. They dont need proof, they just do it, ,and belive me, they do.If you team kill one to many times (4-5 times), you are out 24 hours. Its a automatic system. You can't protest, you just have to accept it. Thats the way to handle it.
