WTF is this bad sport all about

Some guy put a bounty on my head, comes after me so i defend myself by destroying his car. I then get labelled as "bad sport"

 

I can no longer play with my crew members for god knows how long.

it's a way of keeping players from destroying other players during missions, i got a bad sport warning once after i accidently blowing up a fellow player when i was doing the mission cop's capacity, i accidently dropped a c4 pack when i hit the wrong button to run (i have the xbox version of gta online), i was going to plant c4 on cop cars.
