You setup the bomb and then turn off the engine and exit the car. The next person who starts the car will blow up.

Grand Theft Savage

I always wondered what that sh*t was. I was scared to buy it. Now that I know how to use it, I'm going a sabotage some friends.

Buy it and anyone that isn't allowed to use your car will get blown up if they try to start your car. You will have to pay the insurance if you do this to get your car back.

i want to put a remote bomb on a bus and have a bunch of people get on it and as it gets up to SPEED, call the driver and say this.

But how do the REMOTE car bombs work? I've been searching all over and no one seems to know

You probably need to call a certain number on your phone.

ignition bombs are great. I steal a car and then i get one installed, then ill go into passive mode and drive around. When someone starts shooting at me, i get out and take cover and watch them steal my ride and KABOOM :)

But what number or contact? They don't tell you in game and it appears that literally no one knows how the remote bombs can be detonated

will you pay for the car insurance anyway?

Yes. So $5000/7500 + insurance premium for the vehicle, every single time.

You know this is the first search result for "how to use ignition bomb gta v online" and it's completely useless. THe only answer refers to the remote bomb, not the ignition bomb.

Can they only be installed on a personal vehicle?

I don't see why you'd set one on your PVP when you have to pay insurance.

I'd rather set it on a stolen car.

When you get the car back. Is the bomb on there still or you have to buy it again?

Yes. So $5000/7500 + insurance premium for the vehicle, every single time.I think you can put a bomb in a non-owned car too, as long as it's one you can mod. Trickier to get people into those cars though, as they probably have a better car as their personal vehicle..

I wonder if non-owned bombcars despawn if you go far away... Would be nice to just plant a random normal looking bombcar in a popular streetcorner/car park and wait ;)

At least I assume you can, because any non-highprofile cars can be modded just like any personal car. At least I think all the modding options have been available when respraying simeons delivery cars for example... Edited by Sarcasm83

Remote Bombs are awesome for Simeons High Priority Vehicles. Normally if u pick one up any other interested parties will let you get it resprayed etc before delivery in the hope that they can take it off you for delivery without spending the cash. Fit a bomb, let them follow and when they get close jump out and take cover as if you are defending yourself and they will "steal" it. Let them almost get to Simeons lock up before detonation for the Epicist Luls. they raging they do on mic or through messages is worth the 7.5k.
