Mark a player idea

So i hate random killing from other players.

 

You should be able to press Start>Online>CurrentPlayers>Select a player and mark the player as the following

• Repetitive killing
• Blowing up personal cars
• Blocking (Doors and pathways)
• False kicking
• Exploiting a world bug (like glitching though the world and abusing it)
• Repetitive irritation to players in other various ways

After so many marks/reports maybe 3 or 4 the player could get Bad Sport or if he already has bad sport he could get possibly an even worse punishment that removes the right for him to use certain weapons in the world for a period of time. (Dose not include private sessions)

 

An easy get to report button that players can control. Only issue is now how do we stop everyone from abusing that O.o

Iv'e never gotten badsport possibly some people are eligible to use it.

For example, mine is 46% avoided, that means 46% of all players i have ever played with, have gone out of there way to mark me as an avoided player, why? i have no idea. If folk could mark as they please every time they get butthurt over losing a deathmatch, getting killed legit, etc would try to label everyone else as a bad sport

It should only work on free roam then. easy.

Even in free roam it would be abused, "you dare kill me after i started firing on you first?! reported!" I just cant see how they would do it while avoiding issues like that. And programming the actual game to be able to seperate someone whos actually doing something vs just getting reported for it and trusting the "victim's" word would be a nightmare and unfeasible.

Actually it's a tactic to avoid people. If you play FFA matches come across someone good in a game like Halo, CoD, etc, it's in your best interest to avoid them, and prefer the players that are easy targets. That way you come across them more and more and can get easy wins.

 

Back when I played GTA 4 and was grinding Hangman's Noose with friends, we would prefer each other for that reason, since you couldn't invite each other to that.

 

18% of people who avoided me did so because of communications when I just got a headset from amazon yesterday. I also have 50% of them for 'unsporting.' In total, 66% of people I've come across avoided me. It's insane.

 

Hell, my quit early avoids were high when I played Halo 3 and I maybe quit like a dozen matches out of the couple thousand I played.
