Good morning gentlemen,

Is there anyone here who could take a moment to talk to us a little bit about the pros and cons of adding different types of tires to different cars? I thought it was just cosmetic but I heard some guys in a lobby last night saying that they put muscle car tires on something else and it made a huge improvement in the driving.

Is this cosmetic or does it make a difference, and if it does, could you let us know some cool combinations or at least what traits are common to what tires? (Muscle, sports, SUV, etc) I haven't a clue about this stuff but love racing and my custom cars so need to learn.

Thanks!

I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.

it's cosmetic, i far as i know it doesn't effect the vehicle's driving at all.

So I guess these guys that were talking about putting muscle car tires on whatever else and it making an improvement were either imagining it or taking the piss?

An SUV tire wouldn't help you off road or anything?

From what I can tell, off-road tires do seem to help you when not on asphalt. Can't speak on the other types though, haven't tried them out.

Try it out in single player. I have noticed a difference in traction when putting different "class" of tires on. For example, High End vs Tuner or Sprot. The tuner wheels tend to slide around on pavement more. Tested this on the Futo.

I think that within each "class" of tires the differences are purely cosmetic but it would be nice to know for sure if any of them offer certain advantages.

There definatly does seem to be a diffrence, the off-road tires makes this very apparent, however the diffrence between the other types seem to small to really tell.

Yeah, we need to get something concrete on this.. Would be cool if it made a difference as some people say

Tuner tired on my Futo make it slide around a lot more, too much for an amateur driver like me to handle. So I put on Sport tires, they have a lot more traction.

It does make sense that there'd be a difference in class. Otherwise why are the classic hot rods in two classes but unlocked many levels apart?

Painting your car Hot Pink also requires a higher level unlock but it isn't going to give you any specific performance advantages.

there is an easy test for this.. start at a stop light for example. go full throttle till the next stop light and hold the handbrake. remember how long the stopping distance is and do the same after you changed tyres in the same weather condition, and same location

Will give this a go and see if I notice any difference thanks!

There are 2 classic hot rod wheels, one is under muscle, not sure on the other. They look identical. So why are they under different classes and unlocked at different levels?

If we keep this bumped that one guy with the friend who is a rockstar developer might see this and im sure he can figure it out for us if our testing is inconclusive. I've only got a bike and a bison right now so I cant really run any testing until I get a good street car
