My coffee maker is messed up?

Hey guys quick question I know its a little out of Long On but when I make coffee I fill the basket totally and use 4.5 cups of water every time and it comes out perfect.

For some reason I followed the same procedure today and my coffee is like barely even brown and certainly not black and tastes watery and disgusting.

I'm not sure how I could have an error like this when I follow the same procedure every time, do you think my machine needs to be cleaned out or something? Someone told me that you can run boiling water through it once to flush it out.

Thanks and i'd appreciate any help anyone can offer

Yes, clean it.

There might be a bat in there.

OMG that is awful, i'm almost scared to open it now I hate bats. There is one that sleeps upside down at my window at night and I hate him but never bother him.

Usually when something isn't working correctly, I just stick my penis in it. It doesn't really fix anything though.

Buy a Mr. Coffee. It is the cheap version of a Keurig machine costs 30 bucks and K-Cups are a dime a dozen and delicious.

it might be dying on you (i could be wrong) about 4 years ago i had a higher end black & decker coffee maker (it cost me about $60 - $70) quit brewing less then half way through the brewing process (i had plenty of water in it's tank and it was less then a year old (i no longer have it, it was a nice one).

That's a shame. Ill try another run and if it comes out the same way I'll go buy another machine. For 30 bucks I got a few years out if it I guess its not too bad.

Vespucci Hipster

They clog and you have to clean the gunk. Try running water through it or look online for a homemade solution, my old boss would use vinegar on the coffee maker then flush with water several times

Or, you could talk about GTAO usually fixes things since this is a GTAO forum.

He's merely asking a question towards his own community.

No offense but you should maybe try not saying anything at all or helping with a solution.

I'll keep you guys posted for sure , I'm going to go try another run on it right now and see if I get any different results or the same problem. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Hey admiral, this is indicative of water missing the grounds and the overriding the basket about 3/4s but catching enough ground drops to give it that brown dye tint. Try making sure the basket is pushed all the way in!

Hmm great tip maybe a line of grounds is below the basket and holding it up enough to cause this problem , I usually fill the basket while its in the machine and spill a little bit so that might be it. Ill try cleaning out under the basket and see if I can get it to set more properly. Excellent tip will let you know how it turns out

no need to be crude, coffee makers do stop working because of repeated use.
