Even in campaign, I don't even know how to get my stealth skill up.

Into sneak mode (L3 [PS3] or L[360]), then walk a lot.......That's how I fill my stealth

Thanks for the tips guys, but what is good about having maxed out stealth?

Here is the easy way to max Stealth. Find an open field, go into stealth. Leave your controller on its analog stick so you sneak into a circle, wait a minute to see if you hit anything. If you don't hit anything going in circles, walk away and do something for an hour or so. Come back an hour later and you should be good.
