Reasons why R* won't ban you

Recommended Posts

I haven't been a member of this forum for a long time, I've seen members from back in 2008, but, everybody that is complaining about the farmers/glitchers/cheaters/hackers and so on... You should really just stop complaining about it. Everybody is saying, well dem dar cheaters making the game less fun for me! My question is... HOW? why is it that you are letting the amount of fun you get from a game be based on somebody else's experience in the game? So what if another player wants to hack/glitch/farm/cheat, it really should NOT dictate the amount of fun you gain from playing the game.

If you would rather not play with the people that cheated, farmed, hacked, or glitched then go play in a solo or invite only lobby and invite your friends or put a word out in the lobby before you leave,

"hey everybody, Im gonna go play an invite only sesh, if you would like to join, let me know"

Its really not that difficult. Its kinda old seeing the forum board being spammed with, well hacking is causing me to have less fun, or, newest farming method click here.

Who f*cking cares if somebody gets banned, its not going to effect you in any manner what so ever. STOP CRYING and GROW THE f*ck UP!

RANT OVER!

If R* can figure out who has glitched/farmed and can see the amount of cash they got from glitching/farming, why not just take that cash off them? also the cars etc which they purchased with glitched cash. instead of banning.

Too many, literally thousands of players have already glitched their way to millions of dollars. It would take a lot of effort to reset all their bank accounts and given the state of the game when it was released it seems rather unlikely the devs would put that kind of effort in to something that would upset a large portion of their player-base

For your info, companies pay out of court on things like this and make the prosecutor sign a writ that waves their right to any further comments or publishing anything on the outcomes of these suits.

The TOS you highlighted applies to everyone, if everyone was banned because of that reason alone then the companies stocks would go down, business would slow, partner companies would not invest in a project.

To use that clause is a death sentance to a company.

Don`t be silly. Every company uses that clause for any action they take against any player and or any of their games.

Using that clause globally and against everyone, in a "let`s close GTA: O tomorrow indefinitely" scenario is a death sentence, not to defend in a court against a lamer that wants to make money off a company that banned him to protect its intellectual property.

And it isn`t more right or wrong than putting LEGITIMATE defensive players in bad sport servers, such as any that has blown up a car gets bad sport, regardless of motives. It`s not like Rockstar`s automated systems are fool-proof. 10, 50, 100, 100k players that end up with a trimmed bank account won`t be the end of the word and certainly not a court case.

And you can already go and see that RS stocks dropped from release of online

...which is due to the poor launch itself and the issues players were having in the first days, not because glitching.

I'm just giving reasons why Rockstar won't ban people who glitched. The fact that they can has nothing to do with that. So there's basically no point in showing me that you can get banned for it.

I showed you guys the financial part. It would not be any good for R* if they banned people when looking at the financial part. Less people --> less DLC being bought. And cash cards don't really matter. People that glitched are not buying cash cards now and won't when they get banned.

How about legitimate gamers who may quit cos they're working their arses off for money and the cheaters are getting away with exploiting the f*ck out of the game?

There's no excuse for allowing cheaters to continue to play, by your logic, aimbotters for instance, wouldn't be banned on Call Of Duty cos Activision would miss out on their DLC cash. That's a flawed outlook, cheaters must always be dealt with so the legitimate gamers, who are always the majority, are not alienated by the developer.

Maybe so, but it's unlikely anything will happen to players who abuse a programming glitch. They'll simply patch it out eventually and that will be that

Whats wrong with you people? Did any of you crykids play an MMO or anything in that way?

Farmin the best possible mission is something normal since YEARS in games. WTF is wrong with you kids? Are you blind? Even in a shooter i grind the same freaking level where i get the most kills in a round to lvl up as quick as possible. If you don't like it, fine, play the game your way. COD BF and so on has the same thing. Ppl will still buy DLC's if they make it worth it. Ppl won't buy cash obvious if they have the time to grind and actually like it. Did you guys ever think of it tht some ppl love to gind? Grinding games are out there since years and known only for this.

Now using glitches like the resell crap, thats an other story. These in my opinnion should get at least a warning and if they continue a ban by next patches.

Probably won't be a ban,but a cash/stat reset. If anything it'll only be affecting them, since hundreds of people are rolling around in millions without legally earning it. The people who've not exploited the game probably would not buy cash cards anymore. "Why should i pay for something if others got it for free, basically doing nothing?"

So people who exploited probably wouldn't buy cash cards any more if nothing happens, since they got everything they want.

And legit players probably won't either, since you're paying about £13 for a million+,when others got it for free.

That isn't a good situation now,is it?

And farming isn't an exploit at all. (I've not farmed)

This is completely differet. COD is a highly competitive game, GTA isn't.

Its R*'s screw up with the glitches and if they think they need to go into it and patch it up then they will. They won't ban anyone for doing the glitches what so ever.

This is what happened on RDR. They said it was there fault for allowing people to do glitches. They might think different about it now because of the cash cards though.

The cash cards are there for the people that want to buy them, R* already knows that not 100% of the people that play the game will buy them. Its know as a floating expense. The only money R* is spending on the cash cards is in advertising, know as a allocated expense. R* knows all of this. YES, it is R*'s fault that people are glitching, its a program error, not the gamer's fault. STOP with the ban spam. If R* bans people they are going to lose more money than they would if they just let it go. R* is a company, what do all companies want? MONEY!!!!! MONEY, is something they wont get if they start banning people. GIVE IT UP already!
