Crate drop problems.

message popped up saying a crate drop was imminent, There's also a green circle on my map.

 

I went to the green circle and there's a flare but no crate, i've been here for about 5 minutes now and nothing.

 

Is this a glitch? i'm certain nobody has taken it since i'm the first person here.

 

I've also searched the place top to bottom.

This has only happened to me during the special crates (yellow flare)

 

I got there and nothing.

 

But i did manage to find some did gang bangers around the bushes, so im not sure if someone got there before me and the flare was still beeping.

If you get there before it drops, it will remain a circle. You have to wait for it to drop and turn into a suitcase with a dollar sign on it to show that it's been dropped.

Yeah, the flare is where it will land. It sometimes even tells you how long until the drop, I think. I'm always getting a message like "3 hours until special crate drop" or something.

It seems i've glitched the crate drop, or there's a server issue.

 

There's a green circle, but still no updater in regards to the crate, nobody seems to be contesting it.

 

I think i'll just leave it for now, Thanks for your help.

I just experienced this for the second time (with special crate), showing up before the actual drop. There is a flare but no box. been waiting for aprx. 15min. waited outside green circle for about 5min, still no crate drop.

 

Edit: "Special crate drop in 3 hours", arrived after 2-3min, which would give me 3 min wait time. There was allso a Gang Attack (red circle) in the area. Cleared that out, without that making any difference.

I've had the same. Waited for ages (like 30mins while I was doing something else to test) and nothing came. Bugged

If you stay around the circle the crate never drops....go away (far away) and wait....it´s the only way....

I'm also having issues with the crate drops. Three or four times now the drop is never made, no matter where I am. I want the unlockable tshirt so this is getting on my nerves.

I have been playing all day and not once have I seen anything on the map or any special crate drops. It is really starting to annoy me because everyone is talking about it. I am a level 92 and nothing appears anywhere I fly over the map and I don't see any flares or anything. Help me please!!

If you enter the circle and kill one or more of the guards before the crate is dropped, the crate wont drop, ever. Im not sure if you even need to kill a guard for this to happen.
Ive seen this so many times. The reason might be:
Who is dropping a crate when the protectors of the area are under attack? If the receivers of the crate are dead, the pilot needs to be a moron to drop it.

So it might not be a bug, just pure logic (for once).

1 hour ago a messaged appeared saying a create drop was about to happen on the beach, Went there and it's just the red flare,

 

Just now, it said it's dropping in the middle of Los-santos, I was first there and it's just the red flare. Time wasted

Wait for it to drop before you go there.
