Just did a mission with a guy--successfully--and when it was over I quit back to free mode. See a blip standing nearby... turns out it's the same guy. He starts walking toward me, and since I had passive mode on I wasn't worried. Gave him the "rock" sign as a hello. He takes out a grenade and drops it at my feet. No time to disable passive and defend myself, so I just take off running. Get to my car, get in... just as another grenade lands on my roof.

 

I know other people have worse "bad teammate" stories than that, but I guess I've been lucky so far that this is really my first one.

At least I got the $$ from the job banked first...

Not really the worst way I was killed, but me and a friend were flying around in a couple stunt planes, when 2 jets showed up to try ruin the fun, one of the jet pilots had a bounty on him and we decided to try kamikaze him out of the sky with our stuntplanes, 20 minutes of dodging missiles and atleast 15 times we nearly hit the guy as he was banking round for another run.

 

Eventually we both fell to missiles, but damn it was fun being that close to sure death for so long.

 

Doesn't beat some of your guys events though, some of you are really badly unlucky.

I blew myself up cause sticky didn't STICK to the f*cking chopper that was shooting at me while i was chilling listening to music on the road. I Threw it and it hit the underbelly of the chopper but it falls off and lands on my car and before i could react i pushed the button and (BOOOOOOOOM!) Me and my car go up into flames.

 

No... I wasn't mad, me and the random guy were laughing so hard cause of it.

Funniest death I saw was when a jet swooped in to kill me in the prison car park... they missed my car by inches... and flew straight into a wire fence.

 

Best death was when I was hit a good few yards by one players car into another car driving in the opposite direction.

lastnight i had my upgraded sand king xl blown up and i got ran down repeatily by the same player and as far i could tell he didn't get fined for my truck's replacement (i got no messages saying he was) so i was forced to pay $850.00 because someone had to be a jerk..

this guy in an unbelievably fast mustang ran me over but the worst part about it is he kept bragging about how he wanted me to find him and kill him and even set a bounty on me but he kept killing me and i couldn't do anything because his car was so fast i thought he was in a plane when i saw it moving on the map

I needed ammo and some random dude is in Ammunation with his heli parked outside. I walk in thinking we can be civilized and shop among eachother... As soon as I'm done he blows me up with a sticky bomb. In hindsight I should have stole his heli and shopped at a different store, stupid bitch.

Oh I almost thought that was you. Something very similar happened to me, some dude killed me so I seeked revenge, killed him a dozen times before he took a heli and flew to Ammunation, parked it outside. I sticky bombed his heli and once he was in - BOOM

Today I tried to join a game, connection problem occurs while joint and I'm booted back into FR.

The host is stood there also, he kills me.

 

What an inconsiderate prick, I had my back to him while getting my phone out to quickly join a race.

I put a sticky bomb in front of the garage where you hand in the high priority vehicles. And then I waited on the other side of the harbor untill the marker arrived. Then watch the fireworks and avoid the angry mob haahaha.

 

I was chasing a guy once and I ended up on the roof of a building right on top of him. At one point I accidentally fell down, but landed on top of him, killing him while I rolled to safety. We both laughed and had a whiskey in my apartment and said goodbye haha.

I had just outrun the cops through a series of alleyways and ran out on the road to be greeted by a player who ran me over.

Made It worse that he was in an ambulance which to me, is the definition of ironic which made me laugh just because of the vehicle.

Lol i loved finding the ambulance in gta iv deathmatches. You are right, there is a huge irony about killing people in the very vehicle that is called on to save lives.

Someone kamikaze'd into my helicopter with a fighter jet. Was wonderful.

I got my revenge plenty of times after we both spawned on the ground though what was extra sweet.

The most annoying death I had was after respraying one of the cars you deliver and getting shot soon as I leave it. I want mad though because I would have done the same. After that I just kept hunting down for a good hour or so which was fun.
