Simeon's garage won't open

After getting a vehicle from simeon's texts, respraying the car and driving to his garage, the garage door won't open. Anyone have trouble with this?

Just to be sure its the one on the left, there are 2 close together... Not saying you didn't know that but just crossing all the Ts and dotting all the Is

Are you driving into the one marked 3 and not 4?

Because I did that for a while and felt pretty dumb once I figured it out.

Yup, the one on the left. I tried leaving and coming back but nothing happened

heh, same here, the f*cking stupid gps is hard to read, it doesnt show sh*t where it really is and it changes sizes depending on how fast you go so everything is farther away than you think when you slow down, highly f*cking annoying! if you can lock it to not change size that might help, It should be about twice as big as it is and not zoom according to speed, or at least have a setting to turn on and off. The expanded map is too big and the normal one is too small, lol! The big one is nice to pop up and look around for a sec but its too big to drive that way, you cant see the road, so you gotta pop it up, and then pop it back down. Thats my expert opinion anyway, I f*cking hate that gps.

 

 

Is there an S there? you gotta respray it before you can deliver it. If no S you probably forgot to respray, if theres an S could be a bug, but it always worked for me

Have you tried exiting out, then restarting the game? It sounds like a bug.

you gotta get really really close, too close if you ask me, by the time you are in range to make it open you gotta back up because it hits you, f*cking stupid, every garage is this way.

Doesn't matter how close i am. I tried crashing into it and it still didn't open

okay so i had this problem. i took a shortcut to his garage skipping that over pass turn road. kept on backing up and trying again, no luck. then i just drove back to that over pass, went through the actual gps route. let me in no problem. so drive around a bit then go back and try again. worked for me

thats strange, its worked every time for me, you probably got a bug, id restart your console and see if it works, if not then email rockstar tech support. good luck!

This happened to me the first week of launch.. I tried everything.. I could even hear the guy inside the garage talking about the car and that I got the right one... It was so messed up.. I ended up having to start a new session... After that I had to wait to get the car list from him again but it worked.. Haven't had that happen since.. It is definitely a bug in the game.

happen to me yesterday..with a friend in the car..i got out let him take the wheel...still didnt open....

Garage won't open if there is stuff going on like VIP-jobs started by other players, etc. When those activities end, the garage will eventually open.
