Every race is the same for me. I take the early lead, then get pit maneuvered and have to fight my way back up from last place.

 

I was so pissed earlier when some asshole made my bike spin out at the beginning of the first lap. I stayed in last place for minutes and crashed a bunch of times, angering me even more. Finally, on the last lap, I went beast mode and rode a clean, fast lap. I come to the realization that I will finish in last, as everyone is crowded approaching the finish line when the douche in first crashes into an SUV about ten yards from the finish line. The rest of the idiots crash and scatter and I come speeding up as they are feet from the finish line to take first place!

 

Seriously though, the slipstreaming gives you NOS and is f*cking ridiculous.

Every single race I get f*cked over because people are a bunch of inconsiderate f*cks.

Protip. When someone tries to pit you, slam on the brakes and steer into them. It usually takes them out, too.

 

After a couple times, they learn to stop hitting you.

 

If you do it right you shouldn't lose control when doing this either.

 

I did this in a race once, someone was about to pit me so I hit the brakes, and sort of did a 'reverse pit' on them instead.

Yeah, you can be MILES ahead in 1st and due to the slipstreaming on each other, 2nd and 3rd will be right up your jacksie in no time. I'm all for a bit of slipstreaming but it's like double speed and negates your pro skills at getting so far ahead

if some1 drives into you ease of the throttle and correct by steering

9/10 they crash and you come out on top

can slow you down compared to the rest though but i've managed to stay ahead of the animals most of the time

if you just keep flooring it you WILL spin out

 

besides I noticed you don't need to overtake most people that drive dirty because they can't drive,just wait for a corner and they'll f*ck up

the lag is so bad on the races I don't even bother. tested it out with another player today.

using the exact same bike, no customs or catchup. he blows right past me at the start and I can never catch up. im ducking down and popping wheelies while he drove normal and still couldn't catch him on a straight away.

 

the more widespread problem is crews. one guy will knock out the other races while his crew mate wins the race. one guy bumped me, just bumped me and the motorcycle engine stalls. wtf?
