I wish they would add pets but have the option to kill them or not (that thing you can do with your online character to kill them from being killed in free roam) so other players don't f*ck with them.

Yeah I want a dog similar to Chop so I can take him for a walk around the block. Hopefully pets will arrive as dlc in the near future and we'll have a variety of breeds to choose from.

Possibly in the update. Rockstar knew very well that there would be problems with the online given the size of the map and the amount of people that were expected to play it. They wanted to get everything copacetic before they added everything that was intended for launch

This would be a horrible idea for online.. People would just run around being animal abusers and killing everyone's pets, basically turning the game into an animal killing simulator, on top of everything else, and making it far more controversial.

You dont have to buy a pet then for GTA: online. The rest of us who are man enough to take care of our pets will own them in GTAO

No he is right to feel that way, I still remember how livid I felt losing my kentucky saddler in rdr, I didn't play that game for almost 6 months. thats what video games are all about, I hope rockstar updates pets at least dogs into GTA Online
