Cars that look realistic?

So in gta 5, there is one car that looks just like a real life eclipse. I am wondering why that one can look so much more like a real car, but then other cars look just fake. Shouldn't rockstar make cars that look a lot more like their real life mimics rather than another car?

I think realism goes for how well the car is modeled rather than how it is based on just one model; believably is better than a terrible attempt at a recreation.

Doesnt really matter to me. I think the cars in V look great and some of them do look like real mockups of their RL counterpart.
