xHumanity
I just had an idea on how you could host a zombie gametype with your friends. Here's the basic rundown on how I could see this working. Start an Invite Only session and set your aiming settings to Free Aim, then invite whoever wants to play into the session (this will force everyone else to use Free Aim). Have everyone stop by Ammu-Nation to pick up a Shotgun and a Knife. Start a deathmatch and use these settings: Type: Normal Time Limit: 5 Minutes (Or more, your choice) Target Score: Off Gamertags: Off Opponent Health Bar: Off Time of Day: Night Weather: Raining Traffic: Off Set the map to whatever you want. Start the game and designate one person to be the starting zombie (you can also have two or three starting zombies, depending on the amount of people you're playing with). There will be two teams (even though it's a regular deathmatch) - the humans vs. the zombies. Humans can use shotguns to defend themselves, while the zombies hunt down the humans using only their knives. Everyone must turn off their HUD & GPS. If a zombie kills a human, the person who dies then becomes a zombie, and must hunt down the remaining surviving humans with their knife. If the zombies manage to kill all the humans, the zombies win. If the humans can hold out and survive until the time runs out, the humans win. Obviously there's going to be a lot of the honor system going on here, with the whole turning off the HUD & GPS, as well as switching to a zombie once you die, so obviously this will only really work with a game of your friends, or with people who are willing to cooperate. I think this could be a lot of fun. If there's enough interest, I'd like to host a lobby tonight and see how well this works. If you're interested in joining, post your gamertag (or PM it to me if you wish) and I'll send you an invite once the game is up and running.
