Strive to Survive

So this is an advice/thoughts thread on survival. I'm not sure how many of you have played it as I know a lot of people just got online in the past few days. I like this mode and it's a simple, fun way to blow off some steam.

My problem is the difficulty curve and how the game mechanics tend to make things worse. So I started one of these because Whiny-ass-Ron kept calling after every mission asking me to help. I start one with a couple competent people and we get the first two waves down in a breeze. Third comes up and we finish with just one of us standing. In the fourth wave, WTAFHOLYBALLSBBQSUASE! The number of enemies multipled significantly. On top of that, these guys are accuarate as spec ops warriors.

This applies to more than just this mode actually. The npcs are crazy accurate, which wouldn't be so bad if armor actually lasted more than three shots. And I mean heavy armor. It's gone before I even know I'm getting hit. The cover system is also a bit wonky still but it takes a bit more getting used to, I suppose.

I don't mean to complain as this is the only mode I even have anything to complain about so far and I've played pretty much every mode. The accuracy and armor are my biggest gripes. I would like to know if anyone has yet been able to actually complete a survival match. How did you go about it, what level you were, what level it was, and all that. I know your max life points extend as you progress but I feel at 33 I should be able to get more than level seven on a survival map with a couple mid-20s? Thoughts?

If you ever see the cop with the shotty, my advice is to run. He doesn't miss, EVER

On top, I agree. It's f*cking ridiculous how accurate NPC's are.

Actually i finished the Boneyard Survival multiple times already. For me, the best thing you can do is to climb to the top of the building near to crashed planes. If two of you are there, and the other two are inside the big warehouse it's a piece of cake.

Any time I'm up high I get torn apart. Epecially when the choppers come in. Like, wtf choppers?! TWO OF EM?!

Am i the only one who finds survivals easy?

If 2 members are decently hidden then its already a piece of cake. Most of the times I get bored before loosing.

Its not that hard people. Dont run around like idiots.

Yeah I finished survival on boneyard today as a team of 4 quite easily. If you plan it between you all and make sure you get the weapons that count against the helicopters its simple. Especially if you make use of the roof mentioned a few posts above.

I did Sandy Shores one. MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE PATHETIC PERFECTION ON THE ACCURACY OF HELICOPTERS. It is impossible to get a guy running when in a fast as hell chopper, f*ck them.

I completed it 2 times, best way to rank and money up till now.
