eazydoezit14
GTA V is an incredible game and I've invested probably about 20 hours into it already. Unfortunately, there is a slew of bugs, glitches, and for some people it's completely broken. I haven't even bothered playing GTA Online (I really want to). Why invest time playing and leveling up if you can't hardly connect to games, you can lose your character, and corrupt your single player game? Single player has some glaring flaws, the biggest one for me being the disappearing cars. I've customized and saved cars in garages and they disappear. Customizing rides is one of the best parts of the game for me, but there’s simply no point in doing it as it usually ends up resulting in money down the drain. Other people have terrible glitches like corrupted save files, no missions, stuck with a certain character, freezing, etc. This is an incredible game but I am going to shelf it until Rockstar fixes the problems. There is no reason to invest time into a game when your progress is not safe. I understand that this is a massive game and there's going to be glitches/bugs. But some of these glitches are game breaking for me and others. I wish developers would release a game when its definitely finished, instead of setting a pre-determined date and releasing something that's unfinished. I'm tired of beta testing games that I pay $60 for. This will be the last time I buy a game right after release. I'm going to put this game on the shelf until it’s stabilized. Once these terrible glitches are fixed, I will finally be able to enjoy it for the masterpiece that it is. Anyone else feel the same way? walkingsickness
I feel ya but that is what happens in most things now that we live in this hyper technological world. Look at Obamacare and the website that they launched on the same damn day as GTA Online. People still can't even log on because of the glitches and this is the Goverment we're talking about. Just part of life now. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624502-not-playing-until-fixed/#findComment-1063707081 Share on other sites
nuer
After 100 hours of gameplay, I didn't lose my character once or lost anything at all. I never encountered any game breaking bugs or connection problems. The only problem I noticed was some floating rocks...and I'm being serious. TakinThyBacon
Sorry to hear that guy, I think the game is amazing as well and its a shame that Rockstar missed such trivial things when it came to bug testing. Hopefully the 1.04 patch will be the fix all for V, I am optimistic that the problems will be worked out within the month. OP, instead of just reading all of the bleeding spew that riddles this unfortunate site, maybe try it yourself, or maybe try THINKING for yourself. The game is FAR from broken and it honestly gets better every single day.....and I'm being serious. ONLINE IS AWESOME, if you are still pouting about online while jagging off in single player, you are missing out. Your post has me thinking I might start over again if there's a chance I won't lose progress, especially my custom cars. Do you play on 360 or ps3? After 100 hours of gameplay, I didn't lose my character once or lost anything at all. I never encountered any game breaking bugs or connection problems. I know it's far from broken I just don't like the idea of playing for hours and then losing my progress due to glitches. I've already experienced some of my own in singleplayer but if you are truly saying that you've been playing online without a single hitch, then I'm considering giving it a go.
