What the hell is this bullsh*t?

 

Hay, i dont make topics often, but this is getting on my tits now. The bad sport thing makes absolutely no sense.

 

A guy killes me 3 times in a row, i hunt down the little prick and kill him. In the process his car blows into bits. GOOD! then i get a warning that i shouldnt do that.

 

Then another example. I sat idle for a while whilst i was talking on the phone (in real life) i manged to sit for around 20 minutes untouched (miracle) just as i am off the phone and get my controller i notice a guy on the radar. He starts shooting me i drive off with barley any health and he starts chasing me. Big mistake on his part as in a car i am an excellent shot. I blow his car up whilst trying to shoot his head..... then i get a rather threating message. "You are being a bad sport!. Do it more once more and you'll be punished"

 

 

What is this sh*t? I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet online, but f*ck with me. and ill have my revenge. 10 times over. Give bad sport warning to the real bad sports. The quitters, and cheaters. Not me!! Dicks.

Why you gotta destroy their car, did their car ever do anything to you? Did it beat you up and steal your lunch money? If the answer is no, just take your revenge on the driver and leave the poor defenseless car alone.

Gameplay reason, it is much harder, almost impossible to program the game to recognize that he was the agressor and so all his possessions should be fair game.

i get warnings when the game disconnected me from missons and when i load it back up again it says i could get a bad sport if i keep doing it through no fault of my own

I understand that, but you should not even get a badsport warning or be known as a bad sport for blowing up someones vehicle. Someone did it to me, and i didnt give a sh*t. He paid the insurance and that was that. Plus you can get revnege on them. You dont need rockstar doing it for you, when they dont know how it happened! Fair enough if someones do it 3 times in a row. But the way it is now, is so very dumb.

I blow my own car up when I do races as I don't want to spawn in it every time I finish the race.

1) If you're such an excellent shot when you're in a car, then why didn't you hit his head without shooting the car? ;-)

 

2) The Bad Sport system is stupid, plain and simple. It basically gives a person the ability to grief people and if they fight back, they take the risk of becoming a Bad Sport because they hit the car and not the player. In free aim, it must be a nightmare.

 

You can't blow up a person's car. But you can park your car in front of a store they're robbing, thereby keeping them from leaving ... and then the police show up and kill him. You can also camp outside the import/export garage, which players have always complained about in various other games, and kill a guy trying to deliver a special car they've found. AND you can kill someone and immediately turn on passive mode so they can't get you back. Then when they realize they can't hurt you and turn their back on you, you can switch off passive and kill them again.

 

Yet NONE of those things will give you Bad Sport.

 

Heck, I was once chased by three guys at once, all in cars, helicopter, etc. 3 against 1 ... and that's not being a Bad Sport, either.

 

I can't even figure out why blowing up a person's personal car gives you a Bad Sport. Because they have to pay the insurance? Right now, if anyone blows up my car, I only lose $400 ... if they kill me, I lose $2000. At least until my insurance is higher, I'll take that over a person killing me any day.

 

They need to remove the damn thing.

To bullet one - I was thinking the exact same thing lol.

 

To bullet two - Without Bad Sport, griefing would be even more extreme. I have gone over this with you; without any Bad Sport or Passive Mode, you and your car would be destroyed on sight - just like in GTA IV. I often park my own car in front of the store I'm robbing and look where people are prior to pulling out my gun; I have yet to encounter anyone attempting to block me in. Camping - what does this have to do with Bad Sport or Passive Mode?

My suggestion is to do some changes to the Bad Sport system, something like this:

 

Player 1 is shot by Player 2 .

Player 1 can no longer be considered bad S port to Player 2.

 

If Player 2 ent ers another Player 3's vehicle, then Playe r 1 isn't a bad sport towards Player 3 either.

 

Something like this could make it more tolerable.

Actually about the passive thing, there are plenty of ways to retaliate, run them over, blow stuff up near them, hell blow up your own car next to them, wait till they get in a vehicle and then shoot them. Passive mode ONLY protects you from gunfire while on FOOT.

I hate the bad sport system it's BS, when I'm playing with friends, like probably a lot of you it just turns into a massive deathmatch. I want to be able to sticky bomb my friends car in a drive by without getting warnings. Same goes for them, it's part of the game, deal with it.

I was messing around with the buzzard, chasing people down.

 

It was rather cinematic, not to mention it's the perfect tool for bounty hunting.

So why do you hate the Bad Sport system? You and your firends blow each others car up, get tagged as a Bad Sport, get put in to Bad Sport lobbies, then continue to blow each others car up in the Bad Sport lobby. I'm failing to see how the Bad Sport system has hampered you in any way.

Anyway, to the point i made about me being a great shot in the car. I remember i had burst tyres where he was chasing me for a while shooting. so was skidding around attempting to shoot. Plus was angrily spraying him and his sh*tty car.

Is there a way to know how much time left before going back to regular servers ? I got this stupid badsports yesterday because I left a race at the airport with like 32 laps ... didn't know it was a part of the " badsports " ....

Bullsh*t, with all of the little fine details they programmed into this that by comparison would be easy.

 

They already tell you that you got killed by xXFag12YOKidXx so they can easily detect WHO you were shot by, and who shot first, and that's just on a basic level.

 

They could detect an aggressor and allow for vengeance kills.

My xbox froze just after the first race the other day with my new character yet when i reloaded it said you left the match early etc if you keep doing it you will be a Bad Sport lol wtf.

Bad Sport seems to punish some people and not others. I, for one, have not even had a warning yet but I haven't blown up anyone else's car or left a game early. I have been kicked for idling quite a few times now and only received two good sport money packages. I have killed plenty of others in free roam in self defence and for fun. And my car has only been blown up twice but as the kids level up I'm seeing more and more sticky bombs lol. My only worry about removing bad sport would be free-roam just full of tanks, buzzards and jets. It would be more like a Battlefield game than what it's supposed to be. Meh, I don't know really what they could do to improve it realistically. However, it does seem to teach those in the dunce brigade a harsh lesson (which some of them need).
