Does the Crew That Makes the Challage get $$$ Money From the Betting if Another Crew Fails the Crew Challage or Doesnt Finish in TIme

Does anyone know how to get your crew world ranking up?? In my old crew we were ranked 900 no lie. But we hadn't done any challenges? How does it work?

No, My crew is Ranked 8,092 and i never did a challenge!

Crew challenges were permanatelty removed shortly after heists were released in early 2015.
