Can smb tell me why you should race 3 laps instead 2? When I am racing, after 2 laps I get the message "You reach max RP for this session". I tried with 2 laps, and get the same RP (around 3 bars full on RP bar), so I level up every 4 races. Is there a further use for this 3 laps, or will be 2 laps okay, too? Around 1 week ago when I was doing this race, I never receive the message about max RP...

3 laps is better off for when you're lower rank, but as you start to reach higher ranks (around 85-90) you'll notice you max out the RP for the race after the 1st lap. That's when you switch it to 2 laps, instead of 3. Also, Rockstar nerfed this race with the 1.04 patch, making the max RP you can get from it 5k per race. That's why you suddenly started getting that message lately.

 

And yes, the times need to be set to personal. The way this RP gain works is that you're always beating your personal time, giving you the extra RP. If you set it to world record, it won't work the same. It also won't work if you do it solo...you need at least 1 other person with you.

But still doesn't make sense with the Personal Time. When I already have the Message "You reach max RP", how I should be able to earn some more RP for beating my own times?

Once you get to the point where you're getting the "you reached max RP" message right after the 1st lap, then you drop it down to 2 laps instead of 3. You earn more RP by continually replaying the race over and over again.

You are very correct. Trading wins is exactly like two men putting penises inside each other. Very astute.

 

But seriously, I prefer a real race, even with friends. But every once in a while, when there's only two of us, we'll trade wins to make more money by one of us betting $100 and the other betting $1000. That's an extra $9000 for every ten races.

 

We did this more when we were playing with 3 laps, because we'd do a real race for the first 2 1/2, then make sure the guy betting $1000 won.

It depends on your rank. The higher the rank, the more RP you'll get from each lap. For those who are under rank 90 or so, it takes more than 1 lap to max out the RP. I'm at 80 right now and it still takes more than 1 lap to get max RP. I get the usual 1.5bar of RP after the first lap, and then about half a bar of RP on the 2nd lap...then it maxes out.

was having the same issue sometimes idvget 2 laps of RP and other times nothing either lap - what I do is just take note of the timer for every successful lap of RP - 1st lap at 30 seconds and second one at about 56 seconds and I've been getting both laps worth of RP ever since.

 

 

also,the cheeky git saying trading wins is gay - I know everything in the world about what is gay and trading wins is definitely not....you on the other hand though,definitely.

You no longer need to set it to 3 laps. After the last patch you get a boost in RP after the first lap then it says Maxed Out RP for this Activity. So now you only need to set it to two laps.
