Sergio2007
Don't get how some people here bitch about the driving physics. Love them, they feel way more realistic. I dislike the merged-down car damage, though. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/ Share on other sites
russianpolice
With such a big map and bad driving physics (my opinion) game feels not fun. Getting from place to place is stupid and damage is just pure crap. Don't get me started on motorcycles or helicopters. After GTA IV it feels downgraded to me. IDredMan
I know you're a troll. But reading through that I wondered "Is this a normal thread?" Then I read this: "they feel way more realistic" Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063700701 Share on other sites

I dislike the merged-down car damage, though. I agree with I like the driving physics but they are FAR from realistic, All GTA's have never had realistic physics, It's pretty obvious to see they went for easy to pick up controls and I do enjoy them don't get me wrong but they are wayy down the line compared to Forza, GT and most Rfactor and LFS mods Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063700718 Share on other sites
Sergio2007
@dreman: In GTA IV driving cars felt like... well ... driving a boat.. I think GTA Vs driving is more realistic. NOT realistic compared to real life.. but closer than IV in my opinion. And YOU are a troll btw. AlexL
You people don't get it, the damage is even better than IV since your wheels, bumpers and fenders can fall off. It just takes a longer time to damage a car... Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063700733 Share on other sites
FromBrnoCity
I like it, it's like little something from old SA and GTAIV but way better, I don't know why some kids are still bitchin'. The damage is awesome, I've had the unfortunate event of getting my car crushed by a train Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063700807 Share on other sites
twigs2001
physics on certain vehicles are spot on, however on others not so much, aka the sanchez. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063700950 Share on other sites
Buford T Justice
It's not terrible, but there are some weird issues with it that take away from game play. Such as the inability to push other cars, A Patriot can't push a Sultan out of its way unless you use speed and ram it. That's really obnoxious during cop chases, cops can just get in front of my Patriot and ride their brakes and it will bring me to a stop... All the cars are amazing off-road. That sucks too because there is no advantage to have an SUV/truck over a sports car off-road. It also makes customizing cars less meaningful. If all the cars are pretty good at everything right from the get go there is little incentive to modify them to be good for off-road or on-road. motorcycles/ATVs drive like a joke but everyone seems to agree with that. Other than issues like that which make all the cars feel the same to drive, the driving is fine. Too easy to drive and a bit bumper car like for my taste but that's subjective. Just needs some refining I guess. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/624025-love-the-driving/#findComment-1063704795 Share on other sites
