Why am I getting booted by "other players"

After god knows how many attempts to get online I am now getting booted by other players wtf, the first one was during the tutorial sessions, some bloke comes up starts shooting and kills me, no worries. A bit later on I have been to the clothes store step outside the same bloke comes up shooting but I end up killing him. Next thing booted. Just now I log on for another go, look at the map to see what to do and blam booted without even taking a step.

How the f$&k are you supposed to progress in this game when trolling muppets can end your session at will, and for no reason.

 

Any suggestions as to why this is happening or how to stop it would be appreciated
