How to "Give Cash" to Someone?

How do i do This? wanna give a little to a friend, But when i go to "Give cash" the box is blacked out, Like it wont let me give it to Anyone, i tried standing up close to em and everything, I'm able to "share cash from last Job" but not "Give cash" just keeps saying "You are Currently unable to give cash to other players, even when i Join a public game it wont let me lol. Anyone know how this is done? Thanks

yeah, that is true. I didnt even think of the 5k limit.

Xbox, And....when i was trying to do it with a friend i was in "Invite Only" game, but then i went into Free roam public game and it still would not Let me, and I had like 50k on me (spending cash)
