I found mine at the observatory, spawn= last location, invite only.Worked faster than tennis court, could be random luck though.

It happened to be Simeon"s request as well.

I will buy someone's tailgater if they're willing to sell it. I've been looking for days for one checking the usual hot spots and nothing. I really want the car and at this point i feel like im never going to find one. Ive tried all the tricks like invite only seesion, crem member only session, etc. Please let me know. Thanks. I found my Tailgater in Richard's Majestic.

 

What I did was simply driving around the golf club, and if the car isn't there, I head to Richard's Majestic, and if the Tailgater is nowhere in the premise, I return to the golf club's parking lot.

 

Tried this method again today without Simeon's request, and it worked.

I tried GreyleafGamer's process and eventually it worked. Just as he mentions in the video, (while on invite only session) once I got Simeon's list, going back and forth between the golf parking and the loop on the street the cars were "cycling" through the list. They weren't following the same order in the list but I was seeing the vehicles on the list show up until eventually the tailgater showed up.

 

I didn't return to see if another one spawned but I finally got one. You definitely have to be patient but this definitely I think is the best way to go about it rather than cycling through all the different spawn locations that have been mentioned over the months. If you still can't find it, and you're getting desperate the only other choice would be that bring the tailgater from single player to multi player if you're able to figure it out?

 

Before trying grey's method, I was only able to find the tailgater before (when I really wasn't looking for it) at the golf parking lot and also on the driveway of one of the houses located on the east expressway (about twice).

 

I drove throughout the (game) day and I think at about sunset is when i got it. The vehicle I was driving at the time was a Felon GT.

 

Extra note for spawning other vehicles: I keep a Felon GT in my garage not only because I've grown to like it but also because it helps spawn certain vehicles that sell for good price (the regular Felon, Baller, the Porsche Baller, Schwartzer, Schafter, Oracles, Sentinels.... the works). The street in vinewood (where the shirt store is, close to the golf course) and around weazel plaza is really good place to drive around as good vehicles tend to spawn while I'm driving it...

After much work over many hours searching the parking lots behind the tennis courts at VB, I found one. After that, they have spawned at the marina, golf course and back at the tennis courts behind the beach for me. I just sold mine for the shafter, but only for racing purposes.

I always prefer my Schafter over a tailgater but the tailgater looks so sexy and handles well, I want it for my car collection but I can't find one...

 

Why Rockstar making rare my favourite cars?! It is very HARD to find a Schafter.... And finding a obey tailgater is a ******ing nightmare

I was in my felon, drove between the golf course and the beach tennis course and in the end it spawned for me. No Simeon text or magic tricks. Just blind persistence/stubbornness

Found mine in the Maize Bank Arena parking lot. I was being chased amd pulled in to switch cars,I didnt even realize what I had picked up til I got in.

I FINALLY found a Tailgater online. I was driving around by the Rockford Hills area looking for a Benefactor Schwartzer when I see this 4 door driving a little fast. I always kept my eye out for a Tailgater, so I drove closer, and recognized it. I'm chasing down the car, because it's driving fast and very reckless, while this random dude is following behind me. Even hitting the car didn't stop the driver, he just drove around and kept driving recklessly, so I had no choice but to kill him and take it before the random dude had a chance to possibly kill me. I immediately drove back to my garage with the dude still following me, and I swear I heard gun shots from him. It was a close call, but I made it in the Tailgater to my garage. First time ever seeing a Tailgater "in the wild" online. From what I heard before, Tailgater drivers always drive recklessly and fast, and I witnessed it first hand. I guess that's one thing to look out for. You can also acquire one if Simeon requests it, but that doesn't happen often.

I just found in the in the "pool" parking lot at the movie studio. I've seen it a couple times at the observatory parking lot, before I wanted one or realised how valuable it was.

The house that you're looking for is the last of a series of houses found on the right side of the road. it's the one that from the satellite picture has an oval shaped pool. The driveway curves up towards the garage. If that still doesn't make sense it's the topmost house of the houses found on the right side of the road.

 

The "conditions" at the time I found this tailgater:

time: 20:18-ish

car driven at the time: entity

Simeon car list at the time: sentinel, dominator, schafter, surge, ocelot

 

I don't currently own a tailgater with my main character but something about this elusive car still inspires me to keep an eye out. That said, if I had to find it again, I would try the golf course method with the tailgater in Simeon's list.

Found mine at the golf course after Simeon requested it. Stored it because it was rare and sold my jackal to lsc. Now I miss my jackal. Not sure why, tailgater looks great, just like the jackal better.
