Anyone successfully given cash to another player?

I lent a mate £1000 the other day successfully, but since then I've not been able to give cash to another player. Tried in my apartment, tried in a private server and tried stood right next to each other, with passive mode on and off...anyone know why the option might not be coming up for me anymore?

I just wanted to lend my mate someone money so he could finally get a garage!

Somebody sent me money and I believe I sent somebody money too but that was a while back - before all the patches.

It works.. I believe the daily limit is $4,000.

And it goes straight into their players bank.

Access the option from the select menu >inventory>give cash.
