How do you play on the same team as your friends/crew members?

Hello everybody, so I know that I am not the only person wondering this, but in all of my searching I still have not found and answer.

 

So, how do I? I have friends, I have crew members, and can even be on the same server with them, but when we start a mission, be it deathmatch or anything, we end up on opposite teams! And I'm even talking if everybody is the same level, so it's not an issue of team balancing, we always end up on opposite teams.

 

How do I fix this? Make it so we end up playing on the same team?

i hate this too. it needs to be easier for parties to stay together. if i wanna try and get a crew deathmatch going some of my crew end up on the other team to balance it out. ridiculous.

matchmaking in general is awful i think its really hard to find quick TDMs and to easily play with your friends

Okay Rockstar - Theres your Main thing to fix in the next Patch. What is the point of a crew, if you can't play on the same side?

You guys have to set up teams, make it so me and my friend, in the same crew, have an option to play on the same team.

Aye, what's even worse, is if there are 6 people, 3 from one crew and 3 from the other, you STILL will get mixed together. I seriously don't see the logic in that. I understand making things stable before making any big game changers, adding more big missions/heists etc, I understand all the glitches and problems - No way to avoid that. But like you said, that should have been a key little issue that should have been setup first.

yup "lets make clans but no clan matches" said no game developer ever

A group of 9 full level 90's VS a group of 9 new people is going to be EXTREMELY UNFAIR. I know sometimes that is not the case, but loads of players would complain even if everyone was the same level. Its going to be pretty hard to lose with a full team of crew members backing you up.

I can't believe there isn't a better party system. I have yet been able to play a deathmatch that kept my crew together. It's no fun for the one crew member that always gets stuck on the other team. Not to mention getting separated into random games after you go back to free mode.

Don't get me wrong, I understand and accept the balancing system, but that's not what the problem is. The problem is regardless of Levels, if everybody is the Same level, me and my crew will be seperated, including a crew only game ( one crew vs. another ) we were seperated and mixed up.

 

Even when I am playing with my one friend Dave, out of the eleven or so that we have played together, not once have we been on the same team, when balancing was not an issue.

 

I understand if the crew or people must be broken up to balance teams out, absolutely it would be unfair if not, it's just that If I am playing with my friend, and I want to be on the same team as him, there's no way to do that. I was just using Crew as an example saying even though we are on each others friends list, and in the same crew, theres not way to choose, that's all.
