Giving cash disabled?

Just tried to give a friend some cash that I earned and it told me that I could not currently give money to people. Anyone know why that is?

After a mission you can share your money with your friend.... not all of your money ..

I think you are currently limited to giving cash once every 24 (real-time) hours. which I personally think is absolutely ridiculous.

 

I could see maybe limiting it to once every couple hours. I mean... what is someone going to do? give away all their cash? what is R* really worried about?

 

It's just annoying when you want to pay a friends hospital bill, or loan them enough for a gun before a mission, but you can't. please R*, since you're seemingly worried about money issues in the game, fix this one.

Well now that you say that, it actually makes sense on their part. They're doing everything they can to force people to buy GTA money with MP

I had to do a ammo drop from merryweather before i could share. You can only share up to 5k

Rock*, I have loved most if not all of your games, but if you keep pushing this micro-money bull$hit down my throat with this "free to play online" game, i will be forced to put something down your throat.....

Probably to put a stop to money laundering before they break out the ban sticks
