Is my character gone forever?

My character is still gone since saturday not sure weather to still wait for a solution or make a new character. What do you guys think?

He/she may not be gone forever.....but i'd just start a new character anyway.

Same situation, but you could wait and create a new character in the other slot, so they won't ovewrite (At least, I think it's safe).

Rockstar advised people to not make new characters. Mine was deleted three times and I didn't ever make a new character and he came back all three times.

That's why I mentioned in another slot, or is something unsafe when creating a new character in another slot that I'm not aware of ?
