I've seen this topic nowhere and I need help

After I complete the tutorial I have absolutely no mission text. I get done with Simeon's car thing all goes well until the LTS, once I complete it I get no text or calls from Simeon, Gerald, or Lamar nothing I've tried deleting my character I've tried backing out on the LTS screen I've waited hours in a lobby too see if a text would pop up I've tried calling and it says job is locked until they have a job. The only missions I can do are ones I'm invited to I like coop not competitive, seriously I know I might be just one person (hopefully not) experiencing this but how do I fix this! like I said I've deleted my character, made a new one and that didn't help.

You have to go and do other stuff they dont just give you every mission straight away, as to recieve some missions you have to be a certain rank to recieve them unless you are invited to a coop mission by a friend or a higher ranked player. If you dont want to be competitive then go rob stores and rank up a little and the missions should eventually arrive around lvl 5 and onwards.

I believe rank 5 or 6 is when Simeon calls you for jobs.

 

Just rob a couple stores or do some races

I feel your pain. Its hard to find something informative around here at the moment. 90% of the GTA Online threads are people asking or hosting grinding sessions.

Thanks guys but I'm a level 4 I think and no mission text:/ even when I made my first character online I was getting text after like level 3 and none now? Is this apart of the patch or is it just that my game is messed up
