New bad sport system idea

A very simple fix for the bad sport system that I think would work would be to let people forgive you or choose not to forgive you.

 

So if your messing with friends and destroy their car they can choose to forgive you and you wont be a bad sport.

 

Also, if someone destroys you car and you choose not to forgive them, choose a % of insurance costs (up to 75%) that they have to cover.

 

 

if someone does something to you that can be classed as being a bad sport, bring up a menu saying

 

“Do you forgive -PLAYER NAME HERE-?"

 

and give a yes, no and warning option. The warning option would send the guy who did it a message saying saying “VICTIM NAME HERE forgives you, but this is a warning from them. Don’t mess with them"

 

After choosing an option bring up an “ARE YOU SURE?” menu incase they chose the wrong option

Not a bad idea, but somehow I doubt that the majority of bad sport rating are coming from blowing up friends cars.

 

I think the bad sport system is one of those things that will be endlessly tweaked, and I wouldn't mind seeing something like the above introduced, and it wouldn't be without precedent (have seen something similar in at least one other game).

Yes, in an ideal world what you're suggesting would happen. But it isn't going to happen anytime soon.
