OMG. I think Free Aim only is here

My friend was complaining that his gun wasn't "locking on" while doing missions. I asked him if he had Assisted Aim on and he said "No it shows Free Aim but I can't change it"

Sure enough I look at mine and mine is locked as well. I nearly jizzed myself. Please someone tell me this is for real or a bug?

Change it in singleplayer. Inconvenient when you're Online, I know.

it is real it always has been. If your setting in SP is free aim, your MP will be free aim

I want free aim in free roam and aim bot in missions but it seems to be impossible

Mine locks half the time and half the time not in the same session or mission even, really f*cking annoying and ive never changed the setting. I think its just bugged and doesnt work correctly, it did this to me in SP too.

set your settings to free aim in singleplayer mode, and you will only play with other free aim people online, which is 10000000x better than that stupid lock on kill anything that moves with 2 buttons sh*t

I just noticed this as well, I also play radar off in single but at least you can change it in MP. Interesting how you only play against other free aimers though, thats kinda cool. I think its better to roll with free aim anyway, and if you ever want to step up your game and just play better in the future you should play even better with auto aim.
