Are we still supposed to be losing 2k each death?

Basically all in the title. I realize it's been like this since launch and I thought the first patch was supposed to fix it. However, the second patch is being released and there are no notes saying it fixes losing 2k per death in free mode. Will this be fixed or is Rockstar sticking to this? Just wondering, it's kind of annoying.

Why would you not lose money when you die in free roam?

Rockstar stated you should only be losing some cash on hand when you die, but we still lose 2k from our bank account

It's not only Free Roam... You lose it if you die in races and deathmatches.

I think this was fixed, I'm not losing 2k in missions or deathmatches anymore, but free roam is still screwed up :(

Hopefully they'll smarten up and remove this. There should be a penalty for dying but 2k is too much. That's like the payout of an average job. Gone in an instant...
