Can you kill other online players in free roam?

Without being labeled as 'bad sport'? Is it only blowing up their cars that leads to the 'bad sport' label?

Yeah it's just Personal Vehicles. This has led to a lot of griefers starting out trolling players then hopping in their car so that when retaliation comes if their car gets blown up they've lured the other player into accruing bad sport points.

I'm pretty sure you also get labeled a "bad sport" if you exit a mission before it's over.

If you get kicked by other players a lot for greifing then yes you'll be labeled a bad sport although It's pretty f'd up because even if you're not doing anything wrong players can still kick you if you're not their friend or in their gang

seeing as most people are lower lvl, when i do get into it with someone instead of blowing up there personal vehicle i just flatten all 4 tires before they get back to it. Have ran into very few people that have dropped the 25k (cost of the ones i put on my skyline anyway) on bulletproof tires....

personally dont worry about "bad sport" if you come near me i kill you. then i shoot the tires out on your car and put stickies on it. as soon as you get in i get a 2nd kill for free
