So SURVIVAL is pretty impossible for my friend and I.

Both using free aim. We have good accuracy though.

The thing is that when one of us dies, the other guy left alive is HOARDED and has no way to defend himself.

Should we just use Auto Aim for this?

We played 7 times in a row and the furthest we got was to round 6. It was Industrial Plant. Tried staying inside dumspters but we have bad luck with it.

I'd love to know a glitch or trick for this because I am not a fan of Survival Modes in videogames.

The most important thing with survival is to be cautious and pick good locations to sit.

Just pick them off slowly one by one, keep an eye on your health, and grab armor in between rounds.

Think smart, not aggressive.

We do. We have scattered around the map lookin for camping places but they surround us. It's insanely stupid and smart of them. lol

Industrial plant is one of the harder survival to complete. Play boneyard with your friend, i usually take cover behind an upside down car near the crashed airliner. (its also next to health and armor) enemies can't spawn behind you and you're well covered. Alternatively you can take cover in the hangar, there's also a soda machine there for you to recover your health.

scout the area before beginning the mission. and don't hole up in a place where it is impossible to get to ammo/health in between rounds and back.

also, use your headset and cover each others flanks!

You're welcome, ofc if you guys die its normal its just a matter of learning where they spawn. My experience with boneyard was done with 2 other friends, they're both holding out the hangar while i'm behind my car so maybe you and your friend want to stay together.

Another good spot is next to all the broken down cars, there's a building and you can climb on the roof and you can take cover against the border of the roof. Good luck!

three of us made it to lvl 7 multiple times. If you don't have rocket launcher then dealing with choppers can be hectic. Also take positions on the roof. I have yet to complete bone yard.

I have beaten several survivals on my own, and I did not even know auto aim was possible :S

Where do you pick auto aim? I have not seen any option for it, you saying some people in freemode are running around with auto aim on and some not?

About tactic for Surival it is mostly about bunkering in some good spot where the enemies cant surround you from multiple directions.

btw the best spot on Boneyard is behind the crashed planes engine. There is a "Hole" there you can jump down into and while you can shoot out (there is a armored vest just next to it on the planes wing), very few enemies is able to shoot back from there and also they cant get to you.

Using two people makes it much harder, I think you should try with at least three.

this, only ever got to about level 7 with 2.

but with 3 its a lot easier.

or just use assist aim, its gta not cod lol.

Pfft, may as well switch auto-aim back on. No matter how good you are, it'll never feel as impressive as mouse aiming. This is the game I go to for downtime from "hardcore" right now. I'm happy with the role it fills.

It's best to find a spot you and your friends can hunker down in.

Overhead protection from helicopters is a plus.

You only want them coming at you from one direction if possible. Funnel them into your line of fire.

if your team spreads out, sometimes they will spawn right next to you. Stay together and cover the area your team mate isn't looking at.

It's pretty easy when you have a good spot. If Rockstar gave them a little better AI and grenades...it would be MUCH harder.

Did this with two of us in boneyard on free aim. There's a spot inside one of the planes where you can get them all coming left to right. You don't need to watch your back, and you can pick them of before they've had a chance to aim at you.

Survival is insanely hard. Enemies can spawn RIGHT behind you, terminator AI means a guy with a pistol from a mile away is as deadly as you with a sniper at that distance, and you are a piece of wet cardboard even with max armor.

Play boneyard and hunker down between the portable and the wall on the side of the hanger spawns only have to ways to come in your friend gets one end and u get the other problem solved

I should also add that a low sensitivity is a must if you do want to go down the free-aim road. I think the very lowest is the most ideal. The only real drawback is that you'll be at a disadvantage if you need to spray somebody that's up in your face (melee is your friend anyway). But a few steps back is all you need to feel in control. Your advantage with lining up headshots and tracing runners will continue to scale with distance when compared to a free-aimer who is using the default sensitivity. By mid-range they'll waste many hours of their lives accidentally moving the crosshair past their targets while you can calmly just go on ahead and kill them.

Lowest may initially sound too low but a few gun-range challenges will be all it takes to realise that you won't be needing any more speed than that.

Boneyard. Take cover behind the burnt out van at the back, two people can shoot from there. The enemies run through the gate and you can just pick them off quickly.

I've earnt 20k everytime

Do you guys have any tips on taking out the helicopter guys? It literally feels like my bullets do not land at all (you can't auto-aim the choppers).

Do you lead your shots or have the reticle directly on the enemy? (for the chopper)

Me and another Guy did this this morning. Hunker down behind the green dumpster in the corner of the garage.

what are the stragedies for Railyard and Processed?

For Boneyard, I get on the roof of the building in the back of the yard, near the bus and crashed plane. It's the best spot for me. $20,000 everytime.

I just hit 15 again for the fourth time. I'll be trying out survival later on tonight! Who gives them?

After you meet a certain character survival missions are unlocked. I use the quick job feature on the cell phone and survival is now an option to start a quick job.
