How do you get rid of one of your cars?

I have this crappy car, but I need to get rid of it to fill up my car collection with the best cars from legendarymotorsports.com. Does anyone know how to do it? Every time I destroy it the insurance offers to replace it, but even if I don't, the new cars don't take up the space that the old car was in my garage - it's just an empty space but you can't fill it.

If your garage is full you and you want to add a new one, via buying a new one it will give you the option to replace it
