This is what I think about "exploiting" missions

It's very simple people.

 

Due to lack of beta testers, the team at rockstar was unable to test the amounts of cash to play time ratio.

 

Now that GTAO has been out for a week, they are starting to see the patterns that they themselves would have found out if they did in fact truly test the online features.

 

This whole issue can be fixed in a very SIMPLE manor.

 

Rockstar needs to go through each mission reward, and change the amounts depending on the length/difficulty of the mission. Most are on par, but a select few offer ridiculous rewards for hardly any challenge. I assure you this was not intended on their end. I am confident this will be their route and they will eventually bring back the replay function.

 

Ultimately, It's not our fault for grinding specific missions to increase our money as fast as possible, so I don't understand all of the slack people are giving each other about the morality of grinding or not grinding. People need to stop judging each other over an aspect of the game because although you may not find it fun, some people do. Rockstar themselves need to be aware that if they do not pay attention and actually go through the steps I have mentioned, It will continue to happen, and all these patches will have been for nothing.

 

In the meantime, I recommend that you play the game as YOU see fit. Do whatever YOU think is FUN, and IGNORE the haters/trolls.

I find some really hard missions pay pretty sh*t too. Just did one where we had to drive the slowest tanker ever across half the map with cops chasing us on four stars only to get about 2k.

 

They will find the balance for these missions just give it time.

You think the quick replay option - which lets you vote between CONTINUE and REPLAY - is a glitch?

They WROTE IT IN, the whole point of that mini vote screen is so you can replay successfully completed missions - otherwise it'd just continue to the vote screen automatically.

I'm just stating the FACTS, and the point I was trying to make (which you clearly didn't interpret correctly) was that I myself don't care if a particular person grinds, and neither should people like you. People should be allowed to play the game HOWEVER THEY WANT. Worry about your damn self and quit being childish and judgemental,

 

I could care less if I went into a lobby with a 80-100 level player, because when it comes down to it, the playing field is still even enough as to where I know I could still kill that person if need be.

YES THANK YOU! Some missions give you the same amount of money as others, even though some are much harder. It's really annoying because it takes days just to collect $100,000. It's dumb!

It's funny you called me an ignoramus, when you only know about 1 of 2 replay selection choices because of your own ignorance.

 

The secondary method, is a special feature Rockstar wrote in as I explained in my post above, but it requires that you and the players your teamed with are aware of the keystroke to make use of it. I guess this is to allow teams to replay/refine missions. It is a vote system, so over half the team needs to vote "REPLAY" or it will go to the Vote Screen.

 

It is not a cheat, it's not a hack, they put it there for us to use. Where it normally says "CONTINUE" it now comes up "REPLAY" and a vote is taken - that's not a glitch - that's purposely added there for this purpose. They never removed this.

I myself don't consider it fun to replay the same mission over and over again, but maybe other people do? What's it to me? I could care less how other people like to have fun.

 

It's not cheating, who am I to judge how another human would like to spend his time while playing a video game.

 

Point is, It's ultimately Rockstars fault for giving people this ability in the first place if it was not intended. I gave my opinion on how they could EASILY fix the process.

 

Im confident that it will be revamped to how they originally intended for it to be, which I'm also fine with.

 

Bottom line, people need to chill out with all the name calling, and immaturity in the forums because either of the following:

 

A: your upset it's been patched

 

B: your upset because people are doing it still and ranking up faster then you

- no law that says I can't import goods from china and sell for a high margin

- so I should be able to, and I can, and there are systems and logistics in place to make it happen very easily

Replaying missions-- which the game allows you to do-- is not cheating. Rockstar put it in the game. If they've decided now it was a bad idea, then they can remove it. If someone finds another way to repeat missions after they take it out of the game, then that is cheating.

In the evenings I can only play for about two hours, I do not come on the forum and start crying about how it's unfair that people without jobs can play all day - because I CHOSE that option - I don't demand that Rockstar shuts the servers for 22 hours.

Yes, which is good considering how easy it was. There are still a few key missions with ridiculous pay outs, and there are also quite a few missions that are pretty long and difficult that offer VERY LITTLE reward.

 

The thing is, Rockstar needs to go through EVERY mission and ADJUST pay outs accordingly. Not just the ones people continuously play.

The bottom line is who actually cares at all? It's a video game play how you want to play. There are too many people just looking for flaws, stop being so critical and enjoy the damn game who gives a sh*t how other people play the game.

 

Some people think the game should be a slow, long process and are butthurt that people are already level 50+. Others think that the game should let them get to all the fun items in a couple days so they choose to exploit to get money. But the bottom line is no matter which person you are you shouldn't care that people have different viewpoints! It literally has no effect on you! It's both funny and sad that people are so critical of such an awesome game!

You paid $60 for this video game and you would rather whine about stupid things than even TRY to enjoy the game lol
