GTA V Party/Friend Information

Here is my question...

 

Say I start a free roam session with 5 crew members. We then decide we want to play some TDM. Is there really no way for the host to start TDM matchmaking and automatically bring his crew members with him into a game? Are there no standardized playlists that allow crews to play together against other large parties of TDM players?

 

Here is my dilema. When I'm playing with my crew, if we want to go play TDM, or a mission, or a race, etc...One of us has to go into a game and then individually invite crew members into the game before the slots are filled. Then, in order for us to all be on the same team, we have to turn team balancing off so we can switch teams. This just makes NO SENSE to me. Am I missing something here?

 

The transition from free roam to gametypes with crew members is WAY too much hassle just to play with friends. There needs to be structured playlists for each gametype so that large parties can party up, and then decide what they want to play. Someone please tell me if I'm taking crazy pills....
