Is there a way to turn off voice chat completely?

I'm so sick of people talking through their mics all the time. I've turned it off in free roam, but I keep hearing people talking in missions. There are so often a couple of people who apparently know each other and are constantly talking. It's so annoying. Is there any way to turn it off?

Press your "select" button long (PS3, not sure if it's same on 360) and scroll down to "chat" and set it to "No-one".

Thanks for your reply man. I've tried that, but people keep babbling in races. I'm not sure if they do in other missions, I've done mostly races tonight.
