-ROTTEN-
This may be a placebo, but has anyone noticed after the last couple of patches that the graphics have gone to sh*te (single player PS3)? I'm noticing a lot more texture pop-ins and an overall washed out feel. The first couple of weeks I was pleased with the graphics, but now I'm like ....... wtf? dshadowm32
I actually got really bad pop in yesterday that i never had before, but I thought it was random. Why would they mess with the graphics?
Laggard
Have not noticed a difference.
Raavi
I thought it was impossible to f*ck this game up even more, apparently they've proven me wrong. Never had any problems graphics wise, now I get terrible pop-in, and the graphics appear to be downgraded. Fantastic. Proletariat
Lol that's why when you get a game like GTA you never ever play it with you game console hooked up to online. You always play it offline. Don't have to be worried about being forced to patch. My GTA V is running smoothly on my Xbox Arcade (which has 256 mb) and is running of a 64 GB flash drive with no pop in or other graphical defects. Hooves07
I am playing without any patches right now. The first sp patch caused a lot of framerate drops and massive pop in. Without any patches there is very minor pop in and the only time the frame drops is when after a mission during the mission passed summary when the autosave kicks in. Of course I can't use house garages just bought garages...but I can live with that...for now. Rockstar needs to get their s*it together.

DexterII
I've noticed that some objects seems to fade away quicker now with distance. Something as simple as a rock in some instances. They also don't just become transparent before they pop away it almost looks like pixelation.

I take the time to disconnect from online whenever I play games like RDR, GTA, or Skyrim. Those games are perfectly fine in the condition I bought them in at the store. No need for "patches". For games life BF3, Halo, and CoD I am forced to play online if I am to get my money's worth. But for me, GTA is perfect right from the disk. As a consumer and customer of R* Games, the least I can expect is a quality game from from the box. Otherwise, I would digigtally download it. Aaand don't even get me started on digital downloads. Biggest rip-off and scam to hit the gaming industry. I understand for PC, but not for consoles. Edited October 10, 2013 by Proletariat
Zannis
I've heard rumors the PS3 version was running the consoles hot. Could be they had to reduce the load on the GPU. Total speculation.
Tahkyn
I haven't noticed any downgrade in graphics whatsoever. Must be my lucky day.
