We were leveling too fast, BUT..

So, I think everybody agrees that we were leveling way too quickly with the replay function, 1 week in and people are already 120 (which is basically the max level since the last thing you unlock is at 120, the mini gun). But, I would've much rather preferred just nerfing those mission being replayed non stop, instead of removing the replay function.

Without the replay function, over 50% of my play time now is sitting in loading screens and lobbies, artificially slowing down leveling speeds and money by making us sit in a loading screen is a pretty corny tactic. Just my thoughts.

Loading screens aren't even that long, maybe that's just for you

120 can be considered "max" as that is the last level required to unlock "everything" currently in game, unless I am mistaken on that point.

Yes you can continue grinding above rank 120... but it doesnt seem to offer any benefit besides a high number.

Since Rockstar decided to not Beta test this terribly flawed animal they will now need to use creative thinking to put balance back into this game. How they do that? who the hell knows.. I am sure they had no intention of seeing people max ranked within 4-5 days of the game being actually playable, but it happened... And now those folks who were not able to play, or had characters deleted, or who arent able to play for 10+ hours a day, wil be at a disadvantage. My question to Rockstar... now what?

Correct.

They aren't long, but neither are the missions they didn't decide to nerf, with the group I'm running with, we complete mixed coke in probably 30-50 seconds. We spend more time loading than we do playing now. I just think that's a pretty flawed design choice. Loading screens, lobby times, and now the added fact that we have to call each time to get the mission. 50-60% of me "playing" is more like waiting so I can play.

They aren't nerfing the rewards because then those playing the game right by switching things up and playing different gametypes will have a much smaller reward which actually encourages replay farming. If you don;t want to spend a lot of time loading your group should pick one of the 6 options instead of going back to free roam to get the same mission again.

I guess they will find a way to sort this all out.. This is just a change they made really fast avoiding people to get even more levels and money.,

They will definitely change something according to the missions. Whether they get the restart button back again or something else I don't know but I guess time will tell...

I guess that sort of makes sense, but if there's a much faster way to leveling and making money, that's what I'm going to. That's how I enjoy the game

I really hope so. Spur of the moment "fixes" never work well.

No idea why they would remove a f*cking FEATURE of the game when they could've simply reduced the mission rewards. Horrible decision R*.. horrible decision.

Making us go slower is of no benefit to Rockstar. It was part of the plan to extend OUR gameplay time, but it's of no benefit to them.

Making cash harder is, because we might buy a cash card then.

There is no ranking too fast too slow. Play your game how you want to, enjoy it, and leave it at that.

You can still level up just as fast by doing solo races...and replaying them still works.

Obviously you make no money this way though

I will say the same thing I say to everyone when they start a thread like this. If you dont like it, dont play it. Problem solved.

What do you mean? Making us wait and sit there staring at a screen means less play time meaning less higher paying missions like rooftop, and way less money we're able to make. Making us buy their cash cards lol.

And if you don't like the post, don't post here. Problem solved.

By the way, that's a pretty ignorant way to look at things. Of course I like their game or I wouldn't be playing it, and making a post on GTA forums. Just because I don't like a problem that's been lingering on with their game since the release of online, makes me unable to make a post about it? And automatically forces me to quit playing?

Wait, what?

How old are you? Lol.
