Micro transactions are part of the games industry now and there not go

Recommended Posts

As long as you have your geohot's cracking systems and RELOADED's cracking games, you will have publishers coming up with new ways to combat it.

I have to admit micro transactions has to be one of the best ideas they could have come up with. Give the user the game for FREE, then the aforementioned people are cut out of the equation. Then recoup the cost and make a profit by charging people while they play.

I don't like it but that's how it works and it's not going anywhere anytime soon

if the game was free, yes no problem

but it isn't, I've paid $60 for it, for GTA V, and GTA Online is part of GTA V because it f*cking says on the box that it comes with multiplayer.

And since I've paid $60 for this game, I'm not spending a single cent more and I will not support R* 's sh*t cash card policy because they want to make another billion by limiting the game I bought and advertising their sh*t cash cards. Farming was and is the only solution to equal the cash cards if you want quick money, I'm not saying it's the right way because there is no right way, everyone has his own way of playing the game. some work for the money, in anticipation and patience, others want everything unlocked ASAP.

But the cash cards is a horrible marketing strategy, I hate EA's microtransactions but at least they give you extra content, what you're getting in GTA Online is sh*t that was already in the game, and it's extremely overpriced. an Infernus costs 450k, the 10 dollar cash card gives you 500k, so 9 dollars for an infernus?

f*ck that

Micro transactions are funding free new content for the game not what you have already paid for

As an oldie I remember feeding a Galaxian (early 80's) upright on my school lunchtime. Micro-transactions are just the same. Give us a space invaders cabinet but charge to play. Nothin different there except they were more expensive.

I paid £6 for a single car in Burnout 4 or 5 years ago. Since then it has allowed me to win hundreds of races. An infernus is actually very cheap considering what it will give you back in performance in 4/5 star chases and not to mention the ability to race it in custom class chosen races.

Why is it the default setting for idiots to rip the arse out of probably the greatest action franchise we will see for a very long time? You sir are not a very informed person.

If you don't like it don't buy it, if rock star wanted to make it so you can buy the best stuff in a week they would have made it like that. Do they want micro transactions yes of course, and no a billion dollars isn't enough when you think about over head. If they relied solely on that billion dollars for this game to be run in a couple years servers would shut down with the company. There a business they bring us a product and we pay for it if we want it, at least there's still a way to.obtain everything without having to pay for it.
