One thing they really need to improve in the USA is the history that is taught - not their version, but the actual version of events.

 

No, WW2 wouldn't have been lost without the USA's involvement. They only got involved to make sure they got something out of the European power split with Russia after Germany's loss. They're like the friend that arrives late to the party with no booze and drinks as much of everyone else's possible to catch up and then proclaim himself the "winner".

Wow, whats with all the not particularly well veiled racism? It's 2013 not 1913.

I have had great times with people from the US and the UK, and also Germany and Holland.

 

Proportionately speaking, there are more US people playing than in UK. Therefore, it's logical that when it's US primetime, that is going to be the peak server load period. I don't see why that is the playerbase's fault though.

 

I'm UK, and yes I do notice longer load times etc after 11pm, but hey, welcome to the online world. It's nothing new.

Yep it was so good of America to choose to join the War.

Had nothing to do with Japanese opportunistic greed in wanting Australia and various economical advantages bombing Pearl harbour as they needed the American fleet out of the pacific. Thank god America then joined the war .... On no wait they still didn't it was The Axis powers that declared war on America about 2days later making it a true world war.

Hollywood however picked up the wrong history books.

No we didn't.

 

Tim Berners-Lee indeed invented 'the web' in 1991 but that is just a protocol over TCP/IP the internet is much more than just http.

 

The first network equipment was installed in UCLA and the first message sent from there. So well done for that one USA (Thomas Edison was pretty handy too)

 

Sadly that in no way makes up for cola, fast food, and your TV output.

The US are just as much to blame as us. By the time peak hours come around, the EU makes up for roughly a similar amount as traffic as North America. If you simply must avoid the peak, you need to be on either before the majority of the US portion is playing, or after most of the EU portion has fallen asleep. Then we have the Asian crowd but on the 360, their presence seems quite negligible when compared to the PC or PS3.

Who in their right mind decided to publicly sell consoles in France.

 

True dat, entered 3 different sessions at about 2pm and in every single one there were a couple of french guys not talking to eachother on the mic but literally screaming, they can't have a normal conversation.

I'm from New Zealand, and I like playing with Americans as well.

 

Well I'll play with anyone irrelevant of country, but generally (stereotypes yey) I find they're more outspoken and talk more on the mic - if something pisses them off they don't complain they FIGHT

Usually the only british people I hear on my mic are either young (15-18 at best) or are complaining about something (no offense guys, it's just what I've been noticing over my headset - same thing back in GTA:IV)

Other New Zealanders like myself on average just seem to be very quiet unless with friends (boring - that includes me)

Aussies can be a good laugh, especially when they're 'on the piss'.

 

Edit: not everyone in those countries is like that, I know, I'm not a ignorant racist, it's just "on average" what I've noticed.

My oh my, it was always instant suicides on Black Ops or MW3, I'm thankful that there aren't much French on ArmA 2; maybe because there is no viable way to cheat or boost in that game as nothing is rewarded.

We also invented the fibre optic cable too, in Harlow in ESSEX believe it or not...

 

(Yes that's right, something useful actually came out of Essex)
