Character was deleted - Lost all interest in the game

Anyone else lose interest in playing online after their character was deleted? PRetty sad.

There is a work around if you are fast to getting your characters back, once these issues are fixed the game will be great, it isnt the game that is the problem its the character bug thats making it alot worse for me (not had it in a while hopefully never again)

Do people even read the new Rockstar loading tip? Back out of single player and restart your xbox or ps3 if your character is missing from the selection screen, DON'T DO ANYTHING. Don't spam retry and DO NOT create another character. DO NOT use the character wheel to go into Online. This overwrites your characters save slot on the server until they release the patch.

 

Patience and you wouldn't have lost it.

I lost my level 15 but luckily it kept my 100k banked cash. I created a new character and am now level 21. I thought it would bug me losing the character but it wasnt as bad as I thought.

 

I say get stuck back into it.

I haven't lost my character yet, but I've already completely lost interest at lvl 42, I already have one of the best apartments and 10 modified cars.. Here's the GTA IV Loop again, get bored and wait for my friends to get the game so we can play together for 5 minutes every two weeks.

I can see where you're comming from

those first few missions are a bitch, had to play them a couple of times myself, and to think they adressed this problem in SP by not having you drive around for 2 hours before actually being able to do anything

why not carry it over to the MP and just stick an SMG in your hands and let you loose

 

i'm at lvl 30 now and if I lose my character I dno if I could go trough all the boring stuff again to get where I am now

Got to level 28 and was finally comfortable with the gun/cars and an apartment i had, lost my character and with it all interest in playing again unless he comes back.

 

Have a few friends in the same situation and well, we've got better things to do than sit and grind especially now that you cant farm missions.

 

If my character comes back i'm sure i'll get back into but until then fifa wont be leaving the disc tray.
