Aiming while shooting AND driving.

I've yet to get a hang of this. Its just that the camera angles for the HUD and the car share the same trigger.

How on earth do others find it to shoot and drive?

Its freaking hard and I keep crashing or shooting random NPCs attracting the attention of the cops.

Go into solo mode and just drive around going on a killing spree. Kill everyone you see, shoot out any tires that you see. It is pretty hard to drive and shoot at the same time well; so the only thing you can do to get better at it is practice. I recommend solo mode because you wont lose money from when the cops eventually get you and you wont be bothered by griefers.

when you see a target you want to accurately aim at, start coasting (let off the gas.), always drive slower so there is less risk of an accident in case you actually hit another car or telephone pole. be aware of your surroundings because you won't be able to see directly in front of you depending on the angle you'll be aiming at.

Also, you could slam on your breaks, coming to a complete stop before actually shooting. It works sometimes depending on how dangerous the target that you'll be shooting is.

other then that, not much for tips. It really is inconvenient, but at the same time I think it's realistic because how accurate would you be able to shoot while driving in real life?

I was in a drug run mission and for a few seconds, prolly 5 or 6 seconds I got lock on and thought awesome then ran into the train crossing just the train was going past, car was bent into a 90degree angle then lost the mission!!!.

Man what the hell is this? There's nothing wrong with accuracy, but you're always forced to shoot when you try to aim, which is a bugged mess and even the Story mode says you can Aim as passenger. You can't do that. You cannot aim without firing at all times, which is pretty retarded.

Erm, you can aim without shooting as a passenger.

Its all in your head. I use my brain to hit as accurately as possible. I aim for their tires and then their heads. I'm actually a lot better than the average player. I always seem to kill people when I'm in a car, Unfortunately my only personal vehicle is a motorbike so until I have enough for my expensive apartment I'm not going to be touching cars(unless I steal them of course).

I also use my brain to fight in real life. I can counter almost every move. I don't know how I'm so good. I guess my brain is good at picking up moves from films and such.

See you in another life.

Pretty much got to take a chance if there's another player on your tail, you've probably got a 60 - 70% chance your car is going to crash. I click in the R stick and hold L1, the camera usually starts about the right height.. I find making gentle but frequent adjustments to the cursor's position is the best way. The only drawback in this game is you can't instantly return the camera to the front. No idea why they took this out from IV..

Do what George said. Just shoot everything till you get used to Rockstar's fvcked up, amateur cameras.
